Noodle Wave Richardson

Noodle Wave Richardson is one of my favorite places for Thai food in the DFW area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. We especially enjoyed the noodles and curry dishes, which were packed with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere that is great for both family meals and casual outings with friends. If you’re looking for delicious Thai cuisine at reasonable prices, Noodle Wave Richardson is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

I've been to Noodle Wave many times, and in many different locations. It is usually crowded during dinner time, and that's something I've grown used to. The wait time is around 10-15 minutes. The food was prepared exceptionally well. One thing that caught my attention was that the light switch was accessible to any customer. Though this does not really affect anyone, it becomes a problem if children decide to play with it. Other than that, the restaurant is exquisite. Would recommend.

Noodle Wave Richardson before COVID was an extremely nice Thai restaurant & I could order in Thai with the servers, but things have changed and my friend got there before me. She said not one person brought her any water or made personal eye contact. Keep in mind we used to be in the food service industry ourselves. We loved it since we are people person. Once I arrived, I had to signal to a server that we're ready to order. He was attentive & we got our foods. But, as we're still eating a younger lady wanted to collect my plate and attempted to reach over my face while my friend was still eating & talking to me. I had to tell the restaurant worker, in a moment, you can come collect the plates. It was odd because back then service was top notch! People used to wait outside to eat at Noodle Wave Richardson because the line was so long! Today they were slow to give us any service but yet so quick to rush us out. Food was good and I requested the vinegar and Jalepenos too. My family is from Thailand so we would still like to support Thai restaurants. Service needs to improve or the manager on duty should retrain the staff.

First impression is the last impression. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We found a hair stuck on the menu, and flies were around the food while we were eating, which affected our overall dining experience. Anyone who has experienced authentic Thai food may find it difficult to enjoy this place. Most dishes tasted much sweeter than spicy or savory. The Tom Yum soup lacked the traditional sour flavor and had no noticeable lemongrass aroma, which is an essential element that brings out its authentic taste. The Chicken Satay was average, and the Rama Peanut Stir Fry was extremely sweet. Overall, the food felt less like authentic spicy Thai cuisine and more like a sweet dessert. We were expecting bold Thai flavors but unfortunately left disappointed.

First timer! Love trying new thai places! The spring rolls were good! I got the chicken lo mein spicy but it wasn’t even spicy. Not really my favorite but not bad at all either
