Palestra Spa & Yoga Studio

I got married on June 27th this year. The months leading up to the wedding, I really wanted to enjoy a spa day to decompress and relax before my wedding. I decided to spend part of my bachelor party enjoying a spa with my groomsmen. I searched for days trying to find the right place and finally we found Palestra Spa & Yoga Studio. Our experience was excellent! They accommodated us very well, had 2 rooms for us to hangout while others were getting their service, they allowed us to put drinks in their employee fridge, and made sure the entire time that we were comfortable and well taken care of. 10/10 recommend. The prices were very reasonable, the services were top tier, and it surpassed all expectations. Thank you so much for being part of my special week. You have made several lifetime clients.

I had an incredible experience at Palestra. Angeline was the one who did my massage, and she was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had in my life. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and the environment is relaxing and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great massage.

I booked a couples massage for our anniversary, and my partner and I had very different experiences. While in the same room, he was offered hot stones, an essential oil face rub, an eye cover, a pillow, plus Thai-inspired therapy, while I wasn't offered any. UPDATE: Upon this review, management followed up immediately. They scheduled me a new massage and said they will address how couples massages are coordinated going forward. I really appreciate how they handled my concerns and am looking forward to having a similar experience to what my partner had!

Today, was the second time I had massage at Palestra. I loved every second of it just as the first time. My appointment today was with Carrie, and before that I was with Sydney. I asked Carrie for firm massage, and oh, it was firm! It was so good that I feel alive again. Every muscle and every knot got worked through. My neck and upper back get very stiff, I clench my jaw, and I notice the effects of reduced blood flow to my head. Also, my sitting nerve is bugging me sometimes bc of the long computer work (god, im only 27). So, I really needed this. Carrie used hot stones to warm and relax muscles. I felt just like a completely rexaled wobbling sausage rolling on a table. It was very good. When I was with Sydney, I needed relaxing massage, and it was also very nice. I felt like I softened down to a marshmallow and was flying among the clouds, and that was the reason I came back today. I just wanted to say thank you, and that I will definitely come back next time when I need a re-set 🤍

I love practicing yoga at Palestra Spa & Studio. The class variety is awesome — from Deep Stretch and Restorative to Mindful Flow, Power Flow, and now Qi Gong. Whether I want to build heat or unwind and heal, there’s always a class that fits. The teachers are caring, creative, and fun, and the growing community is truly special. As someone who has only lived in Charlotte for a little over a year now, it's the place where I made my first friends. What better place to do that than a yoga studio! I appreciate the safe and supportive space to continue my practice. With the added bonus of a luxurious spa, it’s the perfect place to support your wellness journey.
