Pastry Paradise Bakery

I bought a Carrot Cake from here for my boyfriend's birthday after hearing lots of good things about this place and I wanted to support a local bakery instead of a regular store bought cake. I was greeted with warmth by the couple that owns the bakery, very nice and informative about their products. It was made with the freshest ingredients, our cake was super moist and delicious! I'll be back to try the others soon!

I have wanted to come in for some time now and overall my experience was great. Some people may feel the prices are steep, but for in house, handmade deserts that have in my opinion great presentation quality- the prices are well within means. For my first visit I chose the black forest cake and made an excellent choice there. Very decadent and soft but not overbearing; flavorful and satisfying. I also chose the bread pudding because I am always a fan of bread pudding, with this being the exception. The bread pudding is not as what im used to bread pudding being and was a bit disappointed that what is normally one of my favorite deserts came to be something totally different. The bread pudding is way to dense, almost like a fudge in its density, and lacking in flavor. I dont mean that lightly, it tastes like almost nothing. It is not completely unpleasant but not at all what bread pudding should be. Bread pudding should be very light, creamy, and bursting with flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, and cream. This had none of that.

I placed an order for my mother's birthday, the lady was super sweet and I was able to get the cake 3-4 days after I made the call as it was a rush order. She had also placed chocolate happy birthday lettering for my mother which was really sweet. 🥰 The cake was absolutely perfect and tasted amazing. God bless y'all!! I paid $157 for a K-Pop themed cake without that K-Pop 3 Girls topper. There was NO CAKE AT PICK-UP BECAUSE THEY HADN'T STARTED. The birthday party was scheduled for the following day (today). Lead time: 2 weeks+ Not only did they express they had no intention of adding the braid, but also glitter, pearls, and anything else that was 'razzle-dazzle' -like. He literally just planned on giving me a purple strawberry cake that I ALREADY PAID $157+ FOR, but didn't even exist. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Man proceeded to lie and say that my family did not bring the topper to finish the cake, as if that was the major issue. Will never do business with this company again, nor will I recommend it!!!!

The strawberry cake /strawberry cheesecake was different but amazing . I also had the s snickerdoodle with Carmel inside . The bomb.com ! I f you’re looking great customer service and great cookies. Come here!!!!
