OGs who have been cutting hair for decades. Marilyn is the most talented, skilled, badass haircutter I’ve ever had the good luck to meet, and I’ve been lucky finding great, skilled hair cutters since I was 16. She is a visionary savant. She sees the hair, she understands the hair, and she instinctively knows what it needs, and how to cut it properly. My hair always feels great after a Marilyn cut. Is he knows how to work with scissors to texturize hair, giving it form, shape, body and bounce. Best hair cut ever !!

Katie is very talented and patient! Katie cut over 5 inches of my long wavy hair to create a great soft long A-line bob and I loved it! Katie understood how hard it can be to drastically change things up and she made sure to talk me through each step so that there were no surprises. Really appreciated her time and patience. Hope to go back soon for a color treatment.

This review has taken me awhile to write as there are a lot of emotions associated with it. I've attached a picture that shows on the left the picture I showed Shannon and what I asked for and shows on the right what I looked like as I left the salon. Clearly there are inches of hair missing from what I asked for. The haircut started 30 minutes late as her appointment before me went long. I was going from a bob to a pixie which is a huge transition. Shannon didn't ask any clarifying questions and rushed through the haircut. I sat there shocked as she kept cutting away more and more hair. I referred her back to the pictures I had with me multiple times saying things like "I want it to be longer on the top so I keep my curls". I don't know if she was distracted or just didn't care, but I certainly didn't get what I wanted. Thinking I was overreacting I payed her and went home. That's when I shared the picture with my friends and they were shocked at how different the cut was from what I had asked for. I called immediately to complain and Shannon suggested that I was just in shock over the drastic change. A few months and multiple haircuts from a different stylist later, I love my short hair, what I don't love is the horrible cut Shannon gave me.

Highly recommend Katie. I went in with dry/dehydrated locks, showed her a photo of what I wanted, and she made my hair look exactly like the pic. In this case it was a balayege or "hair paint". I'd give her 6 stars if I could... Affordable, pleasant & relaxing experience.
