Pho 888

This place was a great surprise! Been wanting to try pho again for a while, and this was the place for it. Our food came out so quickly, I was shocked. Not only that, but it was delicious! The portion sizes are also HUGE. One small bowl filled me up, I bet you could share a medium or a large if you wanted to. If you like pho, this place is the place to go. It wasn't too expensive, the food was worth it, there was little wait, amd the place just feels like a pho place. Overall a great experience.

My wife and I had dinner Saturday night here. We are regular customers. My wife found some type of hair in her plate and had actually had it in her mouth. I understand no restaurant is perfect and things like this happen. We placed the hair in a napkin and showed to the waiter. Without picking up the napkin or even bending over to get a look at it he denied it was a hair. I immediately inspected closely and could easily tell it was a hair. Waiter did give us the option to replace o return the plate. We decided to replace the plate even though we didn't have much of an appetite atter the experience. We did end up paying full price for our food. We both noticed laughter coming from the kitchen and from the waiter's after the experience. I understand cultures are different and some things may be more acceptable to certain cultures than others. However this could of been handled much better for regular customers and much better customer service could of been demonstrated. Absolutely disgusting experience at this pho restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. My girlfriend and I sat there for nearly 10 minutes while employees stood around on their phones gossiping instead of doing their jobs. When they finally acknowledged us, they literally tossed dirty silverware on the table with ONE napkin for both of us, despite multiple employees standing right in front of us. The table was filthy, the condiment bottles were sticky and covered in grime, and the entire place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in days. If the staff spent half as much time cleaning as they do standing around talking, maybe the restaurant wouldn’t feel so unsanitary. The dishes themselves were dirty, the sauce tasted putrid, and the vegetables looked at least a day or two old. The food was barely edible and honestly one of the most disappointing pho experiences I’ve ever had. What made it worse was watching other diners receive noticeably better treatment while we were ignored and treated like an inconvenience. To be completely honest, the entire experience felt uncomfortable enough that it came across as potentially racist. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible service, disgusting cleanliness standards, and food that should never have left the kitchen.
