Phở Fusion & Grill

So I've been going here for over a year, and it's been relatively reliable (depends on hour of day/evening). This last visit I ordered one entree item, and I waited there for approximately one hour. Never was given water which I requested when I placed the order. Got home and they must have changed their beef supplier or something. The combo stir fry mostly all has flavor but the beef... Not only is its temperature notably colder than every other bite - it's entirely devoid of flavor. It's own, or the rest of the dish... Mushy and flavorless. I'm frustrated because this place stays open late but I think my faith has finally waned.

This is hands down the BEST pho soup in Federal Way. I found it when I was pregnant and here I am 3 years later driving from Seatac because I dont live in Federal Way anymore but I'm still craving their pho soup! Their pho is filled with veggies and they are so fresh and crunchy, I really love the flavor of their broth as well. This is now my place to do my mommy & son dates and we enjoy it so much every single time. Highly recommended!

I periodically check out local businesses to monitor their service and ratings, and today I returned to Pho Fusion. We seated ourselves, and there was only one server, Becca, who was absolutely wonderful. She stayed positive despite being the sole person waiting on all the tables. The restaurant was unbearably hot—no fans, no AC, and no airflow since the door was closed. The heat was coming straight from the kitchen, where I saw an older Vietnamese cook and a younger Hispanic male assistant working—so it was a small team. Once we finally ordered, we started with the spring rolls, but they were just one roll cut in half for $7. Then we had the steak and meatball noodle dish: the small was $18, and the large $21 after an upcharge—prices are a bit steep, especially since you can get a large bowl nearby for $16. The heat made it tough to enjoy hot food, and with just Becca serving, she was spread thin. They also gave us plastic forks—those should be reserved for to-go orders only. It’s just not safe or practical for eating hot soup, since those flimsy forks can melt. Even with these issues, Becca was incredibly accommodating, always there when we needed something. While I still respect Becca’s professionalism, the lack of support and the environment made it hard to enjoy the meal. I wanted to keep this place at a five, but I’m dropping my rating to a three for now. I won’t be returning until the kitchen team can get better support and improve the overall professionalism.

We went for the first time about 40 minutes before closing on a Saturday night, they happily served us the most delicious food 😋. We ordered a variety to ensure we got some leftovers and we weren't disappointed. Staff were so friendly and the owner came by the table to introduce himself. It was so good we stopped back the next day for more!

You’ll find a 5 star review from me a few years ago. Unfortunately this place has not only gone downhill, I think it’s at rock bottom. The place is filthy. We had a to go order a few weeks back, and it was terrible. Burned rice, fatty meat, not on par with the place we loved in years past. Their soup broth was the best in the sound region before. I’m not she what happened, but it’s below par now. Tonight was the last visit for us. NOT recommended.
