Queen Spa at S Lamar

I have gone here for quite some time now - I use to see Mazy and currently was loving my new tech. They’re super accommodating even when I was late from work. There was some scheduling issues and I get being in the service industry. I specifically like to see this one nail tech because of how thin and polished she makes my whole nails look. However this past time I felt the application of my nails with hard gel were insanely bubbled and chunky. Many nail sizes don’t match and nails itself are so thick and uneven. This was not even 24 hours after my app. It’s so hard to tell when they are clear but after the designs (which marble was never my inspo) it was clear later my nails were horribly thick. I kept advocating for my design changes and by some point I was like ok. My thumb nails have some lines that make no sense when I voiced I loved my middle nail. After spending $150 on this set, which what I can spend on groceries in my household, I’m extremely disappointed. Waking up and hating my nails doesn’t feel good at all. This was not $150 quality and I will be removing this set.

Queen Spa (Lamar location) does it right! Every technician seems to listen, deliver, and facilitate a great customer experience. It’s usually busy (happy customer base!) but they’re very well staffed and I never have to wait. I feel confident that I can go into the salon with any nail idea in mind and they consistently surpass any expectations. Nury recently did an ombré chrome color style per my request and it was perfect. River manages a great location and I’d highly recommend this salon to anyone!

Always consistent, efficient and really good! I love how I can come in same day and walk out feeling better with great nails. I always find parking and am always greeted kindly. I get Hardgel, with gelnpolish and regular polish with my pedicure.

Favorite nail salon in south Austin! All the nail techs here are amazing, Ivy did my set this time and did a beautiful job!! Huge selection of colors, charms, and pre made designs that you can choose from. Attention to detail and customer service is 10/10. Give them a visit!
