We ordered Aloo Paratha, Pastry, Keema, and Puri Plate. Only thing good was the Aloo paratha everything else was either dry or had little to no seasoning. I would not recommend coming here unless u wanna waste ur money and time. Also they are serving food plastic plates.

I went for Saturday brunch and had some good food. Their halwa poori was perfectly made. The poori were authentic and less oily. Their chana curry was the best I had so far. Bun kabab was ok. Their chicken chutney roll was good as well. The best was almond halwa. They have ample place to seat and service is mediocre. Location is nice! Overall great place for breakfast, snacks or brunch!

Today I went to Rahat Bakery for their halwa puri. It was okay, but if I compare it with Dil Pasand, I would definitely recommend Dil Pasand. The only downside is that Dil Pasand is far from where I live in Spring. The puri at Rahat Bakery is bigger, but the aloo chana (chickpea curry) comes in a very small portion. I asked if they could add a little more, and they did, but then they charged me $5.99 for a small extra serving. At Dil Pasand, they don’t charge extra for a little more curry—that’s what I call good customer service. If you just want to enjoy the atmosphere and spend some time, Rahat Bakery is worth visiting. But if you’re comparing it to Dil Pasand, don’t keep your expectations too high. I’m a foodie and I also cook myself, so I know good taste. The halwa puri was decent, but not outstanding. I also ordered a chicken patty, and it wasn’t the traditional style. My family used to own a samosa and patty business, so we know what authentic Karachi-style patties should taste like. The only reason I took a halwa puri parcel was because I had guests at home. Otherwise, I wouldn’t say this is the best place for halwa puri. Still, for people living in Spring who don’t have many options nearby, it’s a convenient choice. It’s a nice place to chill, but not my first recommendation if you’re going there just for the food. My friend’s family owns a famous restaurant brand in Karachi with multiple branches, so we know what real customer service is. The halwa puri was okay, but charging extra for a small amount of curry was disappointing. Good customer service is about taking care of customers, especially for such a small request. I can honestly make better, authentic Karachi style halwa puri at home because our family has years of restaurant experience. If you’re nearby, it’s worth trying since there aren’t many options in the area. Just come to enjoy it without high expectations. If both the food and customer service had been outstanding, I would have happily left a positive review because I’m a food lover.
