I called them to.get a motorcycle quote. Spoke to Mauricio. I provided my current coverage, at the end he was unable to match those coverages. When I spoke to him AFTER buying his policy in order to get more information about the limits, his FIRST "go to" was "if you don't like it then cancel". The sole porpuse of an insurance agent is to provide assistance that the big corporations make harder to get, to have the comfort of a local person you can call SPECIALLY when you have an emergency and this was the complete opposite. The rest of the 20 min call I spent trying to make Mauricio understand that my frustration was NOT with the policy now but with the way he handled it. I asked for a manager, was denied. He kept insisting he was right and I was wrong and that I "misunderstood" him. I have decades of customer service experience NOTHING triggers me like a business agent that is combative and is only happy about being right above everything else. You can have bad coverage, rules corporate won't let you bend, that is all understandable. Lack of support to your customer SPECIALLY after you took my money is the downfall of small businesses. This agent failed at the core of his function,failed to recognize I've it and failed to regain my trust by insisting I was wrong and he was right. A real shame, I cannot recommend this agent. I will be taking my business to a big corporation and join the millions of people who for lack of support have to quit on small businesses.
