We had the best experience! We ordered last minute cupcakes for a gender reveal celebration. The texture, taste, and sweetness of the cake and the frosting were true perfection. Such a hit. The service is really what made it extra special. We cannot wait to go again!

I’m not someone to write a bad review but I feel like something needs to be said. I ordered a cake at Rubys bakery for my 18th birthday. Originally I wanted a chocolate fudge cake and they said they could only do a chocolate mousse cake with a chocolate ganache spread on the top of it and I said that was completely fine and that it almost sounded like an even better idea. The cake design itself was a heart shaped cake with hearts along the side with a piped boarder and an 18 in the center. We picked up the cake on 4-11-26. Once we got It home I was so excited to look at the cake, once i opened the box I realized that the chocolate they placed on top of the cake did not set causing the piped boarder to FALL DOWN the side of the cake, this also made the 18 off center. So because I wanted to take photos of it (like a teenager often does) I tried to fix the border by using a butter knife to gently place it back onto the top of the cake. I then quickly realized that the “chocolate ganache” they placed on the top was actually HERSHYS CHOCOLATE SYRUP! I tasted it, so did my parents and my brother and we all confirmed that it was in fact chocolate syrup. NO WONDER THE BORDER SLIPPED OFF! We thought the cake was still going to be delicious because one small thing doesn’t destroy a cake but then after taking the first bite we realized that the frosting itself was COOL-WHIP AND CHOCOLATE MIXED TOGETHER NOT CHOCOLATE MOUSSE. To be honest the cake was really moist (which is why two stars instead of one) but it’s so disappointed that corners were cut. The entirety of the cake frosting tasted fake due to the cool whip and chocolate that we went out to Super A and bought a cheap slightly more edible cake. I haven’t hand any of Rubys bakeries other cakes but I hope they are better… DONT ORDER THEIR CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE!

I ordered a birthday cake from Ruby Bakery last November, and they did an incredible job! I showed them some sketches of an idea for decorating, and loved what they come up with. It was my first time ordering a cake of this size, so when I brought it home, I realized it didn't fit in the fridge. They went the extra mile and allowed me to come back and store it with them a little longer until the party started that afternoon. They were very kind and helpful during the whole process, even helped me load it into my car. And the cake was a hit, lots of compliments! Great flavor and great design, we went with the chocolate mousse. I can't recommend them enough!

They did it again! I brought an idea in and once again I was blown away with the design outcome. The flavor was perfect too. I requested two cakes one large and one small for an angry birds themed. I told them I want the angry birds on one as if they were aiming towards the green bad pigs on another cake. I told them that I really wanted the slingshot and tnt boxes incorporated somehow and they sure did! They are truly the best at everything they do. Reasonable prices for a great design and great taste. Cake was fluffy on the inside with fresh fruit. Can’t wait until my next order.

You give them a design and they will deliver! Need to provide cake pops/toys and extra edible decorations, but they will not disappoint you. Price is reasonable, I’ve been doing my customised cakes here.
