San Diego Nail Lounge

This place looks nice but it is not run well. I came here when it first opened a few times it was fine. My last visit I had an appointment and was running late. They never answered the phone or responded to text. When I arrived for my pedicure they didnt greet me or check me in and treated me like a walk-in. I think the owners younger family members were forced to work the front desk that day. DONT DO THAT. DONT HAVE RANDOM FAMILY OR FRIENDS COVER YOUR SHIFT AT WORK BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO BUSY TO COME IN. There was a man and woman in their 20s at the front desk wearing all black and they have no idea what they are doing and were NOT nail techs. They shuffled around and disappeared before the end of my pedicure. The woman was petite with glasses and she never smiled or greeted me or even looked me in the face directly and barely spoke. She seemed dazed and disassociated from reality AND SHE IS THE RECEPTIONIST. She did have me follow her to my pedicure chair then seemed surprised to see me as a real person in front of her and told me that it wasnt my chair and I should go back and wait. So why did she have me follow her? Very rude and weird. She stayed acting completely out of it the entire time she was "working" not even looking customers in the face directly and barely speaking. She did not want to be there. DO NOT EVER PUT A PERSON LIKE THIS AS YOUR RECEPTIONIST. There were other things that bothered me about the service. But there is no one to complain to only the weird silent family members shuffling around the front desk. An owner or manager finally did show up at the end of my pedicure but the damage was done. I do not like dealing with random weirdos and I dont want to have to worry if the owner is on the premises to make sure I will get decent service. Service needs to be consistent no matter who is working that day.

This service was absolutely amazing! I had Kyle and he did an amazing job. All of the staff was very welcoming and my nails came out exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend this place and especially Kyle. He can do so many designs and colors and he is delightful to talk with.

Kyle was so kind and amazing as well as Vy. She did my toes perfectly. Kyle did an amazing job at my personally requested French tips with pearls. I love how this place offers a complimentary beverage with your experience. Totally worth it. Staff is amazing and super kind. Will be coming back again for sure !!

This place is amazing! I have had spa services all over the world but the "love yourself" pedicure was one of the best I have ever had. Complimentary drinks, snacks, neck warmers, and eye masks. The people are super friendly. Ask for Amy because she rocks! I will be back!

Best nail salon in San Diego. Jen kills it every-time. She is the absolute best nail tech in the world. She takes her time, she’s consistent, and precise. She knows the best colors and is honest with you. That’s my favorite thing about her. I love coming here because they’re so fast too. Manicure & pedicure and out within an hour. I’ve NEVER left this salon disappointed. Pedicures — Mindy & Sandra are the best.
