They went above and beyond to help me secure a critical prescription for my senior dog, Sammy—something he urgently needs to stay healthy and well. After calling several other compounding pharmacies with little luck, I was relieved to find this incredible team. Maii even took the initiative to call my veterinary clinic to confirm important details—on a busy Friday, no less. In a world where true customer service can be rare, these ladies delivered with kindness, expertise, and urgency. I’m incredibly grateful and won’t forget the compassion they showed. Thank you so much!
Once again, a prescription was sent to this pharmacy, and it was not in stock. This caused another delay as we had to request a transfer to a different pharmacy. The medication was urgently needed following an ER visit for seizures. I went to CVS, and they attempted to call this pharmacy, but the call went straight to voicemail. A technician from SD Pharmacy had previously assured us they would answer the call to complete the transfer, but that did not happen. This experience was extremely inconvenient. Moving forward, we will ensure all prescriptions are sent directly to CVS.
It’s about 7 years that I’ve been getting my prescriptions from them and I always have an outstanding experience with this pharmacy! They’re incredibly convenient, and their staff is always friendly and responsive. They answer calls right away and fill my prescriptions on time every single time. I couldn’t be happier with their service
I switched to this pharmacy from one I'd been using for 8 years simply because I thought it would be more convenient. Never did it occur to me that not all pharmacies are the same. I mean, a prescription is a prescription, right? Surely there are guidelines, safety measures, precautions, regulations, licensing requirements, laws, etc. to protect a consumer within a medical establishment, right? In all the years I was with my former pharmacy, I never once had a single problem with anything. In fact, they always went above and beyond and were always very professional. I also had no reason whatsoever not to trust them with my health and well-being - my life. Such a thought never occurred to me Unfortunately, in the month that I was stuck using SDOCP, I did learn that not all pharmacies are the same. I'm not going to go into all the details of everything that went wrong, but it was a bad experience from the very beginning and in every imaginable way. One of the most shocking things is how unprofessional the place is. Unlike every other business I have ever dealt with in my life, rarely could I even reach them by phone, and if I did leave a message, never once did I receive a return call. This is a PHARMACY. There also was something wrong/different with one of my prescriptions because it resulted in a 100% return of the symptoms it was supposed to be preventing (thank God they weren't life-threatening) and which I had not experienced in 8 years. Some might consider that malpractice. I'd finally had enough, and even with all the problems I had here, never once did I receive a single apology. I wasn't going to bother with writing a review, but after their refusing to refund me for having taken unauthorized funds from my bank account and sending a prescription I did NOT order - I decided they need to learn that a business can't treat customers like that and get away with it. Consumers have protections and legal rights. I am contacting the proper agencies. I will be more than happy to use a pharmacy that is 40 miles away, where I am treated with respect and as a valued customer. I also now understand why the pharmacy I returned to is the only one my doctor will use. They have an excellent reputation and clearly have earned it.
I had a very disappointing experience with this pharmacy and would not recommend using them. The staff was rude, and communication was poor. My daughter’s prescription arrived with only enough doses for four days, and despite previously stating they would waive the shipping fee, they did not follow through. No communication regarding the shortage of the prescription. They also provided liquid medication in what looks like a pill bottle. Looks like reviews on other sites follow suit to similar experiences.
