Senior Alternatives approached our family with extraordinary compassion, patience, and professionalism during a very emotional transition. My mother has lived in her Alameda home for 60 years and, after a lifetime spent caring for others, accepting help herself has understandably been difficult. Throughout this process, the team at Senior Alternatives treated our family with deep empathy and respect. Although we ultimately decided to pause services for the time being to give my mother more time to adjust, our experience with Senior Alternatives was truly wonderful. In particular, Frey, the caregiver who visited us, was exceptional — warm, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely caring. She immediately put everyone at ease, and we were grateful for the opportunity to meet her. My very dear friend needed my help finding care last year after a fall. I was hoping to find an organization that could help her with all the healthcare challenges she was facing, that were impossible for me to do as I live far from the Bay Area. Senior Alternatives was recommended to me, due to its deep knowledge of geriatric care, connections in the community and highly talented care team. From the very first call, I knew they were exactly what I was looking for--the ability to immediately provide my friend with caregivers, and then find her assisted living, and coordinate the move to her new home. The caregivers Senior Alternatives provided, which were a must at night at the thinly staffed rehab facility, provided excellent care, and were kind, reliable and flexible. Anna Le Mon coordinated my friend's care, and she went above and beyond. She helped me with the many forms that needed to be completed for the assisted living apartment, the intake requirements, etc. It was a daunting task but Anna was there for me every step of the way. Her knowledge of the process and longstanding relationship with the assisted living provider made it so much easier. The day my friend moved to her new assisted living apartment there were certain items, for reasons beyond our control, that had not been delivered or set up. Anna picked up the items for me and set up the room. I was nearly in tears when she shared a video with me of how nice the apartment looked. If I weren't thousands of miles away, I would have done what Anna did, but Anna stepped into my shoes, and I am so grateful.

Senior Alternatives has been a life-saver for my family. They do a full assessment of needs, and assign staff to meet those needs. They are extremely responsive, flexible, accommodating, and caring.
