SF Supermarket Sacramento

Wonderful grocery store that is PACKED with a wide variety of ingredients, sauces, drinks, beverages, hot foods, bakery, snacks, seafood, meats, and so much more. If you are looking for a wide range of popular asian drinks, this is where you may find those drinks. The aisles were clean and products were well organized! It was easy to navigate through. The bathrooms were a bit dirty but other than that, the store was very clean and well organized and there were no boxes of products blocking aisles. Parking is easy but shared with other businesses in the area. Would highly recommend this shop if you are buying drinks or snacks or exploring!

The fast food in their restaurant is delicious. I ordered a small box with broccoli beef, rice, and sesame chicken. The sesame chicken is delicious, sour and sweet, and the chicken is very fresh. The total was $6, no tip required, which was very good. We are tourists and we will go again next time.

I had my purse and phone out on my cart while shopping and keeping attention to my cart. An employee from the back was walking by and pointed to my purse and phone- he was telling me something like not leaving my purse and phone out on my cart. He then told me, "there's a lot of Black people." I was shocked and disgusted! The discrimination hit home and I'm so sad that an employee at SF market would have such harmful, racist beliefs about the Black community. You can imagine my horror, I have Black family! SF Market needs to be held accountable for this. I will not be shopping here anymore.

This store has a good selection of groceries. After I used the men's restroom, I have a lot of doubts about their overall hygiene so I will not buy any of their meat products. The grocery prices are definitely not the cheapest in Sacramento. If you shop around, you can find better deals elsewhere.

Be careful in selecting their bagged vegetable and fruits. Specially the more expensive items like rambutan, chestnut. They only have a very short window of return. So if you live far and cannot go back with 24 hours, it is your loss. They have a way of packaging the old fruits and old veggies inside a newer package. I call that DECEPTIVE packaging. Already experienced it 3 times. My first experience meat...some so old mixed in with the new cuts. Second is rambutan, nice and beautiful outside inside was all old. Third is the chestnut. All but 5 pieces can be eaten. They are either rotten and moldy inside or so dried out with no flavors at all. Just BE CAREFUL of what you buy and inspect it good before you buy.
