I used to love coming here when I was in high school. It’s been a while since I’ve comeback. Since then, the menu has changed and reduced in size. You can no longer order with card at the register, only at the kiosk. On top of paying with card, there is a 2.5% surcharge for using it. Seeing that made me really disappointed. I wanted to turn away from how money hungry they’ve become. It’s unfortunate that I lost one of my favorite boba shops. They also removed all of the board games. The cozy vibe it once had is gone and now feels like a corporate boba store.

Thank you Maylene!!! She gave some great recommendations my favorite was the strawberry ice blended with lychee and ice cream. I definitely would try it her way next time, she recommended to blend the ice cream. I look forward to my next visit. They have something for everyone trust me this is a must stop.

I usually have a great experience at Sharetea. My go-to location is the Cornelius store because it’s closer to my house. Today, however, I happened to be in the University area, so my friend and I decided to stop by for boba. We both ordered extra pearls, as we do every time we visit Sharetea. When I received my drink, it didn’t appear to have the extra amount I had paid for. I understand that different locations may have slightly different standards, but based on my previous experiences, this didn’t seem like “double” boba. I politely went to the counter and asked if my request for extra pearls had gone through because the amount looked smaller than expected. The employee, Maylene H., immediately responded in what I felt was a condescending and dismissive tone, telling me that what I received was the extra boba. To better understand, I asked if she could show me what a regular drink looked like without the extra topping. Instead of answering my question, she began explaining the measurements they use for the pearls. I mentioned that I was simply used to the Cornelius location and was hoping for a similar amount since I had paid extra for the “double” boba. She replied that the Cornelius location is different from the University location and that what I received was their standard. I understand that locations may have different serving standards, and if that had been explained in a more respectful way, I would have accepted it. My biggest disappointment wasn’t just the amount of boba, it was how I was spoken to. I approached the situation politely and simply wanted clarification about something I had paid extra for. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed rather than helped. I still enjoy Sharetea and have had consistently positive experiences at other locations, but I hope this location places more emphasis on customer service and handling questions with patience and respect.

We had such an amazing experience! My students requested boba for their end of year celebration and this place gave us an amazing deal and made it possible. Not only were they so helpful but the drinks were also delicious. Highly highly recommend!!
