Shine Thai Cuisine @94015, California, Daly City, Gellert Blvd Plenty of parking and not too crowded. Service was fast. We ordered the fried rice with crab — the rice was soft and paired really well with the crab flavor, making it very palatable. The Pad Thai had a nice tangy taste that we enjoyed. We also tried the fresh rolls, which are great for vegetarians. The wrap was tight (which I prefer), and the sauce complemented it well — it had a slight vinegar and peanut flavor. The yellow curry with chicken was okay. If you choose shrimp as your protein, there is an additional charge. The Thai tea tasted consistent with what you’d expect from other Thai restaurants. Prices are reasonable, though the serving sizes are a bit smaller compared to some other restaurants. Verdict: We would go back to this place.

First time here since a family member recommended it. Staff not very welcoming. Got to go and ordered green and red curry. Wondered why we got a bigger serving for the green and a cup of curry for the red? Also, we saw what looked like basil stems in the red curry instead of actual basil leaves. The pad gra pow was a little sweet with a good serving. It was also missing some basil. We ordered the stuffed chicken wings thinking we would get 6 pieces but the menu description is false advertising. Be sure to read the menu carefully before ordering. Finally we asked for extra sauces and received tiny sauce containers. Overall okay with too many mishaps.

The food tasted OK and the atmosphere was nice. The only thing that bothered me was the menu pricing. The curry was listed at $16, which seemed like a fair price, but it didn’t come with rice. When I asked for a side of rice, they charged me an additional $8, which I thought was extremely expensive. It felt misleading, since curry is typically served with rice. Overall, the meal was decent, but that extra charge left a bad impression.

Not too bad! Portions actually quite good for the price. The fried pork rib bites were nice — they are crispy and dry kind of like dry fried chicken. The fried rice was probably cooked with fresh rice and was too soft/wet. Noodle dishes were good. I think $13-15 per dish for the portions made it pretty solid!

Some of the best red curry I’ve ever had!! This is fantastic Thai food. Authentic with high quality ingredients. Extremely flavorful. Ingredients are high quality and fresh. If you want something very tasty at a decent price this is a great choice.
