Had a wonderful experience at Silicon Auto. Mr Qawar and Mr. Derek did a fine job to restore the brakes on my Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with this mechanic shop. They fixed the locked brakes on my vintage Rolls-Royce quickly and professionally. Not every shop is willing or able to work on a classic car like this, but they handled it with care and knew exactly what they were doing. They explained the problem in simple terms, kept me updated, and got the brakes working perfectly again. The car now drives smooth and safe. I really appreciate their honesty and attention to detail. I highly recommend this shop, especially if you have a classic or special vehicle.

Mr. Mahmoud was professional, courteous, and transparent throughout the entire process. My car needed a starter replacement as well as an engine mount replacement, and the repairs were completed smoothly and on time. Mohammed is one of the few truly honest mechanics around. He even understood my hesitation with having a new shop work on my truck and went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable with everything being done. A little on my experience While down in the Milpitas area for work, one morning the truck would not turn over. I towed my truck to his shop with only an hours advance notice. After hearing the situation I was in (basically stranded) he squeezed me in and started immediately. As promised he got back to me within a few hours. Unfortunately the initial diagnosis was wrong, but instead of making excuses or blaming the age of the truck he openly admitted they misdiagnosed the problem and said they weren’t charging me for those hours! Since the issue turned out to be electrical it took over a day to root cause, he provided updates throughout the process. Ultimately they discovered the issue and quoted me the cost for labor (I picked up the materials since I found the part at a dealership far away). He did everything to ensure I understood what failed and what needed to be replaced. The quote he provided was exactly the final price. There were no last minute costs or trying to recoup the hours spent on troubleshooting. Ultimately he got me on the road and back home by Mother’s Day (my girl would have lost it if I was another day late getting back!!!). He could have easily taken advantage of me with my situation of having to fix it to get home. Fair pricing, honesty, transparency and quality workmanship is what you will get from Silicon Auto. If I lived in the area he would 100% be my mechanic. Unfortunately I am from Sacramento but I will definitely use them for other work when I am down in the bay and am super happy to know I have a shop down there that I can trust.

I recently needed a safety inspection for a car I purchased through an auction. The vehicle didn’t have a license plate or current registration, and I didn’t want to risk driving it. Khawar kindly came over with his diagnostic equipment and performed an initial inspection at my place. He explained exactly what needed to be fixed for the car to pass inspection. During the inspection, he discovered that the signal lamps weren’t working properly and needed repair. He then took the car to his shop and fixed the signal lamps. Since the car hadn’t been driven for a while, it also needed at least 50 miles of driving before a smog check could be completed. Khawar drove the car for about half a day to make sure it reached the required mileage so he could perform the smog check. This level of service is truly a one-stop shop experience that’s hard to find anywhere else. Most shops aren’t willing to go the extra mile or provide this kind of customer care. Khawar handled everything from start to finish. He personally made sure my car passed both the safety inspection and the smog check so I could move forward with registering it. I believe Khawar provided outstanding customer service and made the entire process much easier for me.
