Sip Munch Cafe

Cute little cafe. Has board games to play as well. Bench seating and tables. Not many plugs though if you needed to work on a laptop. Love the decor. The worker was very helpful and explained the menu to me and let me try the pandan cold foam. Definitely recommend - it reminds me of a salted caramel pretzel. I like the consistency of it as well, thick and creamy. I got the pandan coffee which is Vietnamese coffee with the pandan cold foam. The pandan definitely balances out the intensity of the coffee. I also got the strawberry croffle - perfect amount of crispy and fluffy. Love the strawberries - tasted very fresh and not frozen. No outdoor seating - located inside a strip mall. Definitely recommend for fun and different drinks.

We loved our visit to Sip Munch Cafe and would highly recommend! The staff was sweet, personable, and did a great job crafting our drinks. We especially loved the hot salted oolong matcha and would definitely come back for it. The durian smoothie was also enjoyable. Overall, it’s a cute cafe with thoughtful decor, plenty of outlets available, and quality drinks. Discounts apply depending on the day of the week (ex: students on Monday, healthcare workers on Tuesday, and teachers on Wednesday).

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was nearly empty except for one table. The cashier was really attentive, offered recommendations, and answered our questions. We got the Peachy Lychee Smoothie, Sesame Foam Vietnamese Coffee, and Artichoke Water. All of our drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness. You can tell they blended up real fruit for the Peachy Lychee as it tasted super fresh. It didn't have any chunks in it and was super smooth and creamy. The Vietnamese coffee is super strong here! You can't really taste the sesame foam though unfortunately. The Artichoke Water is one of their specialties and it was surprisingly light and refreshing. It came included with herbal jelly and basil seeds too which gave it a herby taste and crunchy profile.

The best boba in Austin! This is a local owned shop, not a chain, and it shows. The space is charming and relaxed, and the drinks are top quality. They have ceremonial grade matcha and Thai Green Tea, which I haven't seen from any other boba place in Austin, and the price for these premium drinks is very reasonable!

They offer a variety of drinks and snacks so it took us awhile to decide on our drinks. Cloudy Taro Bliss + Lychee Jelly ($8.04): I ordered this at 75% sweet. It's perfect if you sip continuously, but the sweetness becomes more noticeable when you pause. Besides that, the drink is very smooth and has a prominent taro flavor. Popcorn Chicken ($8.99): Decent, but not the best I've had, though my friends enjoyed it more than I did. However, everyone else likes it. The portion felt a bit small for the price too. It came with a side of pickled veggies which was different. Vietnamese Stir Fry Corn ($8.49): The flavors were on point. They seem to use Vietnamese butter which makes it taste more authentic, and the Chin-su sauce really elevates it. Durian Sugarcane ($8.94): My husband thought this tasted canned rather than made with fresh sugarcane. Roasted Rice Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend's husband ordered this at 100% sweetness, which was too much for me, but the flavor combination wasn't bad. Strawberry Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend got this at 50% sweetness, and it was a bit sweeter than my Cloudy Taro Bliss. The drink tastes exactly like strawberry milk, so if you like that, this is for you. I enjoyed the taste, but it's not my go-to milk tea choice. Sesame Coffee: The Vietnamese coffee had a strong, bold flavor, though the sesame notes in the foam were quite subtle. Rice Paper Salad: Ordered to-go which is not recommended. Unfortunately the rice paper was hard and clumped together, even after pouring the sauce on top, which really affected the overall quality.
