Appreciate them for repairing my window regulator for an older car. The service was prompt however I wasn’t aware of the cost until after the repair. I believe the hourly rate is a bit much - I was charged $417.00 for 2.5 hours work and $400 for service part when it costs less than $160.

In January 2025 I bought a car at an auction and had it shipped all the way from Florida to Houston—just so Mike at Spring Auto Service could work on it. Mike isn’t just any mechanic; he’s my childhood friend, and the only person I fully trust when it comes to cars. The car didn’t even start when it arrived. Mike replaced two doors, fixed both the front and rear suspension, installed airbags, fixed the seat, mounted-new tires (plus a full spare kit), and—most impressively—repaired a dent on the front pillar, which was by far the most complicated job. The car is back to factory specs. Throughout the process, I gave him a long list of requests—some practical, some maybe a little overboard—but Mike patiently explained what made sense and what didn’t, always backing it up with solid reasoning. Still, he took the time to honor my preferences and made sure I was fully satisfied with the outcome. Yes, we’ve known each other since we were kids—but this review isn’t about friendship. It’s about trust, craftsmanship, and professionalism. If you want a mechanic who does it right, communicates clearly, and takes real pride in his work, you won’t find better than Mike at Spring Auto Service.

Terrible experience. Stay far away. I had an oil change done here on my Mercedes and was charged $250. Shortly after leaving, the oil level warning light came on. I called them immediately, and they told me to come back next week even though I needed my car for work. I ended up taking it to the dealer, who discovered that the oil drain plug had been stripped by whoever did the oil change. The repair ended up costing me over $2,500. I tried reaching out to the owner, Mike, who initially said he’d “look into it” but then completely ghosted me and even blocked my number. No accountability, no apology, nothing. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused. Absolutely horrible customer service. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place it’s just not worth the risk.

I have nothing but positive things to say, I highly recommend this place. Mike works on all my cars and hasn’t let me down. He has given me great quotes, fair prices, and sold me reliable cars. He keeps his word and is willing to work with you as well. I trust him with my expensive vehicles and work trucks!

Brought my car in for a paint and mechanical job . Great work and customer service. Will be back for future repairs. I got my brakes done, oil change, and front bumper replaced/painted.
