Nice spot with a fun atmosphere and fairly priced. The crowd is mixed, and many people seem to enjoy the vibe. Personally, I value strong privacy practices when choosing venues. I prefer transparency around how IDs are handled, who has access to personal information, and how long data is retained. That’s something I consider when deciding where to go.

Hi all, I recently visited this facility and was disappointed with its cleanliness and overall condition. The water fountain appeared dirty and looked as though it had not been cleaned in quite some time. The bathrooms and urinals were also unclean, which negatively affected my experience. I hope management will address these issues promptly to improve the experience for visitors. My intention is simply to provide constructive feedback and help make others aware of the current conditions so that improvements can be made.

I loved going here for years but last Saturday I went to the Bear event and rented a room. On the way home I noticed bug bites all over my legs. I was eaten alive at steamworks and usually trust them to keep the place clean. I wasted my money buying a 6 month membership and really regret going there.

Visited Steamworks Berkeley on a Sunday and there was already a line outside the door, which can feel a little awkward depending on your comfort level. Admission was $30 for a locker, and they provide a large towel, though I was surprised sandals weren’t included like they are at some other spas. I think I stepped in something. Overall, it’s pretty much your typical U.S. men’s spa setup: sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers with warm water, private rooms, a very dark dark room, a small maze area, and even a gym right in the middle, which I wasn’t expecting. One thing I will say is that the facility was clean, which definitely made the experience better. If men’s spas are your thing, this place checks most of the boxes. It’s on the smaller side, but that’s pretty common for Bay Area men I mean spas. The one thing I’ve always wondered is why Berkeley? It feels a bit out of the way compared to the main gay nightlife areas. Not a bad experience overall, though I’m undecided if I’d return.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent attention (all the guys) a good plan to spend a pleasant and relaxing time, has a heated pool, hot and cold water shower, several bathrooms, dry sauna and wet sauna, an excellent smell of eucalyptus, if you come to San Francisco do not miss it. $10 for a month’s membership $24 membership for 6 months. VIP from $120 Lockers $24 Secure parking in the surroundings and the lockers are also safe but if you prefer they have safes at reception at no extra cost. ✨✨✨✨✨
