This was a great experience. Very easy to set up the appointment. They had openings for me to choose from. When I got there, Brad had a very warm and welcoming vibe, and excellent service. Not too many questions and simple and straight forward. The car was done in about an hour and they checked my car for future complications. From now on, as long as I’m in San Diego, I’ll be coming to this shop. I’m very satisfied and happy as hell!

I would say that it is b/c I am a Vet that they took such good care of me, but their customer service, human consideration, clear and continuous communication felt organic to the core values of why they are named StressFree Auto. The engine repairs on my vehicle were supposed to be $6,000. Without cutting corners, holding my vehicle hostage, asking me to auction off my 1st born or body parts, Brad and the team found a way to cut the price almost in half. I cannot say TY enough, but I intend to start w/ pizza or donuts. I am so grateful for your time, patience, and expertise. Happy Father's Day and God bless you all for being a blessing to me.

Just had a great experience at Stress Free Auto on El Cajon Blvd in San Diego. From the moment I walked in, the name actually lived up to the service. The staff was straightforward, honest, and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need—which is rare for auto shops. They took the time to explain what was going on with my car in plain terms and gave me options instead of pressure. The turnaround time was quick, pricing felt fair for San Diego, and the work itself was solid. You can tell they care about doing it right the first time rather than rushing jobs through. If you’re dealing with car issues and don’t want the usual stress that comes with repairs, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be coming back for future maintenance.

I had a great experience at Stress-Free Auto Care. I called to make an appointment, and the gentleman on the line was courteous and informative of the services they offered. Once I got to the shop, everyone was to the point and got my car in quick. Their waiting area was small but quite comfortable with complimentary snacks and coffee. Once the vehicle was diagnosed (failed PSCM requiring new rack and pinion due to Ford integrating the two pieces), they provided a repair timeline, cost estimate, and walked me through how they got to the diagnosis. They got parts the next day, and I was able to watch their technicians work on my car from their installed ring camera. I was lucky in that my car was right next to it, so I got to see their whole procedure. Throughout, they texted me with updates, ensuring I knew what was going on with my vehicle, even though I could see it happening in real time. When I came to the shop to pick up the vehicle, I got to talk to the technicians who were very friendly and personable about what the repair had entailed, how they did it, and the replacement parts they had used. My only feedback to improve would be to put the parts that were replaced on the receipt in detail including part number, brand, location on vehicle, etc. I would bring my vehicle back to this shop for any future repairs.

We had to have the transmission fluid replaced while on vacation. The team at Stress-Free Auto got us in quickly and sent updates on the status of the vehicle throughout the entire process. The only issue was the engine splash shield came loose and dragged on the road after I picked up my car. I took it back the next morning and it was reinstalled with fresh fasteners within 5 minutes. This group really takes pride in what they do and were very apologetic about the mishap. I highly recommend Stress-Free Auto as other companies would have said it wasn't their problem and would have charged for the new fasteners.
