Sugar & Brew - Ice Cream & Dubai Specials

We really enjoyed this place. A lot of the combinations were different from what we normally go for, but that’s what made it fun — unique, interesting, and surprisingly good. The Dubai-style cheesecake was rich and creamy, and the pistachio topping paired perfectly with the chocolate fudge. The salted caramel ice cream was also amazing and probably my personal favorite. The lady helping us was extremely friendly and took the time to walk us through the options and help us find something we’d enjoy, which we really appreciated. Wifey’s official review was “YUMMMM!” 😂 so it definitely passed her test, and my stepson absolutely loved the Cookie Monster ice cream. Everybody left happy. The shop itself was also really nice — clean, comfortable, and had plenty of seating, so you can actually sit down, relax, and enjoy your dessert instead of feeling rushed. Great service, creative desserts, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the other combinations!

Walked through Old Town the other day and almost missed this cool little spot with freshly made baked goodies, fresh fruit smoothies & home made ice cream!! I had the Mango Milkshake, they made it with real fruit, home made ice cream. The employees were very nice, too and let me try different flavors. It was delicious, definitely be back!

Wow! Wonderful and varied ice cream flavors. We got an ice cream and a strawberry Dubai chocolate dessert. Both were excellent. The service was superb - top notch!

I was really looking forward to trying the large Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup, especially for the $16 price. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the portion size. The cup was only filled about halfway, which was surprising for something labeled as “large.” When I asked about it, I was told the large has three layers while the small has two. That explanation didn’t really justify why the cup itself was only half full. I also asked about the medium size because it’s still displayed on the menu, but I was told they no longer offer it. What made it more disappointing is that many customer photos in the reviews show cups filled all the way to the rim, which is what I expected based on the menu and previous reviews. Consistency is important, especially at this price point. I hope the business either serves portions that match what’s advertised or updates the menu and expectations accordingly.

The Dubai chocolate is incredible. The service was a 10/10. They let us try their boba as well. Highly recommend the matcha and taro. The matcha is by far the best I’ve ever had. Not bitter at ALL!
