I tried the egg biryani tonight and it was SO good. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and both sauces they served with it were amazing. The spicy red sauce definitely has a kick that sneaks up on you 😂 — it may have been a little too spicy for me by itself, but mixing in the cool, creamy raita balanced it out perfectly. They also had a deal where you get two biryanis for $22, which is honestly such a good value. The portions are HUGE. Each container is easily two meals, so I basically got four meals for $22. I ate half for dinner, saved the other half for lunch, and gave the second one to my nanny mom because she loves Indian food. And the fresh garlic naan?! Holy crap. Warm, fresh-baked, garlicky, and so good with the biryani and sauces. I wanted to try something different because I really haven’t had much Indian food before—maybe once years ago—and now I think this might become one of my new regular spots. Everything was delicious, filling, flavorful, and such a great deal. I will definitely be back!

The birthday cake decor and taste are exceptional. Beyond expectations. I share the pic. And asked if atleast they can do shading. I thought I can put flowers. But when it came home I was surprised. I was totally in aww looking at such beautiful cake. And the taste was amazing. Fluffy creamy and lite with whipped cream. Wow. Great job chef. Thanks a lot.

Taaza Mart located off Bruce B Downs in New Tampa is the go-to place for the thousands of East Asians residing in the Tampa Bay Area offering groceries fresh vegetables and shelves stocked with sweet and savory snacks freezers filled with meats fish and other delicacies and so much more the checkout lines can be longer on the weekends but they are fast! Perhaps the best part of Taaza is the cafe area in the back that is bustling with families and children partaking of their myriad fresh offerings - mango lassi, dosa, tea to name a few - true to its name! Nothing fancy but good food served cafeteria style with a seating area where one can take a few moments to enjoy seeing a glimpse of Bollywood or Tollywood on the TVs and catch snatches of conversation multiple Indian dialects being spoken there and simply be.

Ordered a Talapakattu Chicken Biriyani, was shocked to see it cooked with regular rice instead of Basmati rice. It is the Indian community that has to be blamed for spending their money for such service. I am not a fool to spend my money here again.

I’m not from India but I lived in Dubai for a year and developed a taste for Indian food and snacks. This store has the most varied and authentic products I have seen in Tampa. I never heard of this store or looked for it, but they happen to be located between the pet store and BJ’s I was going to. If you are in the area and like Indian snacks, you should definitely stop by even if only to look around. They also have a large selection of British cookies (biscuits) to go with the large variety of teas. I did not try the food court but will go back to try it.
