Tastea Vietnamese Grill

Upon realising our original destination was closed last night, my family and I stopped by here and it was one of the most worthwhile experiences we have had. This especially goes to the lady serving our food (which in itself was amazing; we loved the pho, banh mi and fries), she gave us some Dr. Pepper cans and was incredibly sweet towards my sister. I hope to stop by here so much more, and would recommend everyone in the area to come and enjoy this restaurant as much as we have (we were the only people eating there). And for the lady, thank you; words cannot say how much this experience meant to me and my sister.

The lady who took our order was very sweet and informative. She took care of us quickly and started preparing our tea right away. The lychee tea with less ice and 50% sweetness was so good and 100% recommended. Edit: We got the bacon fries and they were delicious do not expect some grand taste from this place though. The food is average in taste, the drinks are good (if you get regular sweetness it's very sweet, I recommend 50% or even 0%), service was delightful, the shop was clean and well kept. Would go there again just for boba and dumplings.

Tastetea Vietnamese Cafe in Old Richmond is an absolute hidden gem! This was our second time visiting for lunch, and once again, they blew us away. The customer service is incredible—everyone is so welcoming and attentive. The food is authentic and delicious, with every dish packed with flavor. No matter what drink you choose, you can’t go wrong; they’re all so tasty! My bf and I recommend the bahn mi selections, dumplings, Pork spring rolls! Loved ALL of them!! I tried the honey milk tea for the first time and it was sooooo good. What sets this place apart, though, are the prices. In a city like Houston, it’s hard to find such high-quality food at such reasonable prices. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving fresh, flavorful Vietnamese food. We’ll definitely be back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst food service I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I ordered from here for the first time based on the raving reviews. 🙄 something must’ve changed because there’s no way this is the same …

My family and I tried Tastea tonight. The inside is nicely decorated and clean. Great customer service, and the ice cream was amazing! I had the coconut ice cream, one of my sons had cookies n cream, however my other son and husband had a delicious concoction in a freshly made waffle!! You have to try the I Love You So Matcha! Green tea ice cream with Oreo crumbs, whip cream, and walnuts in a waffle! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other menu items! A little added bonus if you go with family or friends they have board games for anyone to play! I see a great success with this business!
