My husband and I came here for the first time last month. We had free time on the weekend and wanted to try something new. This was well worth the 30+ min drive for us. We were given multiple samples to try. My favorites are the long shaped baklava with walnuts, but everything is great. We have already returned since then. It’s such a beautiful dessert

I came in this shop on October 28th to do a custom order cake. I showed them exactly what I wanted and I told them I wanted it all vanillla with custard filling and chocolate moose filling. I come into the bakery to get my cake order and it's nothing like the photo at all. It's like day and night. I called the owner and told him that the cake is not at all what it's suppose to look like. So he explained to me that he will be arriving at the shop in five minutes and he will have them fix the cake decoration and said he will deliver it to my home. I still paid $80 even though the decoration on the cake was completely different from what I asked. He delivers the cake and the decoration on the cake is falling off the cake melting away. (Even after we put it in the fridge the stuff on the cake was melting off) He offered me $40 gift card or a free tray of baklava for their mistake on the cake, and gave me ATTITUDE saying "the cake isn't going to look like the picture exactly especially since it's a different color... the cake was NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO doesn't matter about the color of the cake??!!!! It's time to cut the cake and we cut it in the inside of the cake is not what I asked for. The guests that we had were eating the cake and one of the parents noticed that some of the flowers on the cake were magnets they were not edible. That is unacceptable and straight up dangerous. I went back and got my money. They even got the name wrong on the cake. Keep your apologies, you messed the whole cake order up, and put kids and adults lives in danger.

Went inside for a sweet treat after I had some Iraqi style kabob next door. Seriously I never usually leave reviews, but I felt truly touched. The sweetest lady just now helped me get some traditional dessert I grew up eating and also decided to give me something extra on the side because we had a nice conversation! Super happy I came in and seriously highly recommend because middle eastern dessert is number 1. Check it out y’all, I’m from Sacramento so I’ll for surely be stopping by here every time I’m in San Diego! :)

Best baklava soooo fresh and not drowned with syrup!! and the cakes are so delicious and beautiful and so fresh! And all their cookies and the date ones are to die for. No one in san diego can come close to the baked goods or service and how immaculate this place is!!! Im so picky no one is picky as I am? When it comes to food, cleanliness and perfection so coming from me, this is saying a lot for this place. I'm so happy to have found this place! Keep up the good work 😋💓💯🫶
