This review is specifically just for Shelby @shelbycrystallinecolorss alone as she is the only one who serviced me at this salon.. I spent $800 on a color correction appt. w/ her because I wanted a deep cherry red and made it very clear I did not want purple or brown. I provided multiple inspiration photos (included here) in and trusted we had a plan. At my first appointment, my hair initially came out fire-engine red and had to be toned before I left. I loved the toned result, but after only 1–2 washes, the color faded dramatically, with parts of my hair turning literally pink (photos included). I followed every aftercare instruction, used high-end professional color-safe products, and washed exclusively with cold water, so this wasn't due to improper maintenance. I later consulted multiple hairstylists, including color specialists, who told me they would have expected freshly bleached hair to struggle to hold that type of color and would have discussed those expectations before performing such an expensive service. I returned for a second appointment expecting the issue to be corrected. What I wasn't told until the very end was that the formula had been completely changed. Instead of bringing me back to the cherry red I loved, my hair came out much darker, duller, and more violet/brown than what I had repeatedly requested. However I gave the benefit of the doubt and asked if if it would fade into our goal color to which she said yes. It did not. After that appointment, I had to buy my own red color-depositing conditioner just to get my hair close to the color I originally asked for. The most frustrating part is that after bleaching my entire head, multiple appointments, and $800, my hair looked almost the same as what I came in with if not farther from the goal than at that point. I now have to pay another stylist to achieve the result I originally wanted. I only requested a partial refund, not a full one, because I understood the time and labor involved. Instead, the corrective toners were repeatedly presented as though they were favors being done for me, even though they were needed to correct the original result. My refund request was denied, I was told she wasn't the right stylist for me, and I was later blocked on Instagram while the issue was still unresolved. In the end, $800 bought me just one week of the hair I actually wanted.

I have SO many good things to say about this salon! Melanie was my stylist and she did above and beyond! She was so patient and helpful. I left feeling amazing after she dyed, cut & styled my hair. She absolutely killed it!!! I would 10/10 recommend & I will be returning for Melanie!

Mel did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair. She took her time and gave her the highlights she wanted. Melanie is very talented and it shows how much pride she takes in her work.

I got my hair cut and colored by Alyssa and there are truly not enough words to describe how AMAZING she is!!! She’s so patient, friendly and so good at what she does!!
