The Lullabar

Been here twice for a gel structured manicure with two different nail techs and left satisfied with the outcome both times!( Irma on the left and Isabella on the right photo) Once without my little guy and another with, which he also enjoyed playing in their childcare ! (They give you a free trial to check it out, which is nice) My favorite part is that UNLIKE other salons, my appointment time means my appointment time so I love not having to wait. Great environment, not too loud and lots to offer. Very cool concept, I’m definitely hooked and booked for session #3. First one (on the right) lasted about 4 weeks !

This review is specifically for The Lullabar as a party venue. We hosted my daughter's 2nd birthday party here, and it was perfect. The kids had so much fun in the play area, and the parents loved the cafe. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space to mingle. I would definitely host another party here in a heartbeat.

The Lullabar is a unique, feminine and baby-friendly space with good espresso drinks, a Montessori style playroom, and an elevated nail salon as well. I came in for a latte and stayed for the playroom. I have now been taking my toddler to their childcare sessions so that I can relax and work for an hour or two while he plays. Everyone has been friendly and accommodating; from the owner, to the young women providing childcare in the playroom, to the nail technicians and staff at the front desk. The owner thought of everything, she even left toys in the corner of the café which my son likes to busy himself with while I enjoy my drink or finish up work. There’s also very cute merchandise for sale. Thank you Lullabar!

I seriously can’t say enough good things about The Lulla Bar in Carlsbad! I’ve dropped my two kids off at the childcare here several times, and they absolutely love it — the caregivers are so sweet and attentive. It’s such a huge relief knowing they’re having fun while I can actually get work done in the café (the coffee is great, too!). I’ve also treated myself to a few manicures and pedicures, and wow — every single nail artist is amazing. You can tell they all take pride in what they do, and the quality is top-notch every time. Stephanie, the owner, is incredible — she’s so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely cares about the moms (and dads!) who come in. You can feel that heart behind everything she’s built here. If you’re a parent looking for a little “me time” or a place where you can work, relax, and know your kids are happy and safe — this is it. Go small business!!

Jill did my manicure today, and it was the best experience! She’s a wonderful conversationalist, did a phenomenal job, and her attention to detail is incredible. It’s the best my nails have ever looked!
