The Pearl Restaurant

We had an enjoyable time at The Pearl. We went to this establishment first wanting to try ramen but found that The Pearls menu looked for appealing, specially because of the dim sum. We ordered a wide variety of the dim sum. What we enjoyed the most were the beef balls, shrimp dumplings, steamed broccoli, and pot dumplings. I’d recommend this location and would visit again if I was in the area.

Served in the banquet room, I believe they're getting renovations done. Excellent food, would come again!

We came on a Sunday before the noon rush and got seated right away. The staff was easy to order with and asked us if we needed anything specific as we were dining with children (kids cups / booster). Dim sum carts came by one after another with a good variety. The only con was that we ordered soup dumplings which were not on the carts and the order didn't get entered / made. Our server double checked for us once we asked about it and since it was missed we opted to skip it instead. Would return though and give it another try.

The Pearl hands down has one of the best dim sum menus in DFW. The menu is varied and full of options. A must try with the chili oil and white pepper powder! On weekends, the servers walk around with carts full of freshly made dim sum for you to choose from. If the dim sum you are looking for is not available in the cart, they will make it for you. From the regular menu, we had chicken corn soup, Yang Chow Fried Rice with extra beef, and lamb chops. Even though I was not a big fan of the sauce that came with the lamb chops, the dish was okay overall. The fried rice and soup were on point! The pictures are from my many different visits there.
