The Royal Thai Spa

I specifically booked a deep tissue massage and asked in advance for a therapist who could provide strong pressure. Instead, I was assigned to someone who appeared inexperienced and barely applied any pressure at all. When I asked if I could switch to another therapist, my request was completely dismissed. No effort was made to address my concerns, which made me feel disrespected and undervalued as a customer. I came here because of the excellent Google reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I genuinely don’t understand how this place maintains such a high rating. I will not be returning

I’ve been a loyal customer of Royal Thai Spa in Union City for over two years, and I just realized I’ve never left them a review. Which is long overdue. This place absolutely deserves all the praise. They recently remodeled and the moment you step through the door. You can tell the owner has an incredible eye for design. It honestly looks like something out of a luxury resort. The décor is elegant, warm, and soothing, with the perfect ambiance that instantly helps you relax. The aroma in the spa is always calming and refreshing, and every corner feels spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell how much care and pride they put into creating such a peaceful environment. I always book a deep tissue massage, and Jessica is amazing. She has the perfect balance of strength and sensitivity. Always knowing exactly how much pressure to use. Every session leaves me feeling like a new person. I go twice a month and it’s easily the best self-care decision I’ve made. The entire staff is professional, welcoming, and kind. From the front desk to the massage therapists. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and valued. They’re consistent in their service, and that’s rare to find. There’s truly no other spa in Union City that even comes close to Royal Thai Spa. Whether you’re coming in for relaxation, pain relief, or just to treat yourself. You will walk out refreshed, relaxed, and completely satisfied. Do yourself a favor and book your appointment now. You won’t regret it.

I had a wonderful experience at Royal Thai Massage! Beautiful facility, clean and professional. Jessica, my massage therapist was very attuned, and helped me work out knots I’ve had for years! I walked out feeling an inch taller! Thank you and will be back!

Good place to go for a deep tissue/thai massage. I have came here many times, but this last visit makes me hesitate to come again. I had a massage with Leah, I asked for a Swedish massage and marked light/medium pressure on the paper you fill out. She pulled my fingers and toes very hard, the joints are still sore three days later. She hyperextended my knee when trying to stretch my quad/hamstring. My neck and shoulders are still sore from the deep manipulation. You shouldn't experience soreness like this after a Swedish massage, which makes me think they only have expertise in thai/deep tissue massage. I was looking for a relaxing massage with focus on my neck and shoulders. They missed the mark, and now I'm dealing with discomfort everywhere.
