The Young American Hair Salon has such a cool, welcoming atmosphere, and everyone there is incredibly talented. That said, I always book with Jason Dong because he truly understands my hair. I have naturally curly/wavy red hair that tends to get frizzy, and Jason always knows exactly what will work best. He gives me the perfect face-framing layers every time, communicates throughout the appointment, and makes sure we’re aligned on the end result. I always leave feeling great about my hair! I’ve been seeing Jason for years and keep coming back because he’s consistently amazing. Highly recommend!

It was my first time getting a haircut here, and Jason did an amazing job! My hair came out super stylish, and I absolutely love it 😭 He also gave me helpful tips on how to style it myself, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to everyone, and I’ll for sure be coming back 💖

🗣️ FRANKIE FRESHNESS LIVES UP TO HIS NAME !! I tend to experiment a lot with my hair because I never felt like a hairstylist gave me that "perfect" haircut. That was until I booked with Frankie Freshness. I showed him references of what I wanted and was very specific. He listened to everything I told him and my haircut came out PERFECT. It was exactly what I wanted and now, I know what the perfect length and cut is for me. When I took pics for my school picture, that haircut he did made me look way better than the previous old pictures. I never felt so confident with my appearance until I got that cut. I recommend Frankie all the way!!

Loved the service super kind!! I felt so incredibly welcomed by Jason!! I shown him some inspiration I had for my cut then asked a couple easier questions if I wanted my length trimmed or shorter layers trimmed I stuck with the shorter layers while also keeping my length, We were talking the whole time he gave me some advice on products to help out my hair! I felt so comfortable and he did a phenomenal job on my hair I love it so much! It’s exactly what I’ve shown plus had in mind! Also he was super quick and was absolutely on top of timing! He works so hard he deserves all the love and support he can get! I will for now on continue to go to him!

I can’t recommend Jason enough!! I first started seeing him just for bang trims while I was growing out a botched wolf cut/mullet from somewhere else, and he was already so helpful and attentive, even with those smaller appointments. Once my hair finally grew out enough for a full cut, I went back to him, and wow! He listened so carefully to exactly what I wanted, was super patient while I explained everything, and absolutely nailed it. It’s honestly one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. On top of that, he’s genuinely kind and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. I feel so lucky to have found a hairstylist who really gets fun, unique cuts and executes them perfectly. I’ll 100% be going back to Jason for all my future haircuts!
