I recently had a manicure and pedicure appointment, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The nail tech arrived about 10 minutes late and then asked for an additional 5 minutes before allowing me into the suite, without any acknowledgment or apology. That immediately set the tone. Once inside, the overall atmosphere lacked the level of friendliness and customer service you’d typically expect from a pampering service. There was very little interaction, which made the experience feel impersonal. Additionally, the space itself felt cluttered and could benefit from some TLC to create a more clean, relaxing environment. When it came time to choose my nail color, I selected the same shade she had on her toes. She mentioned she would need to mix two colors to achieve it, which took less than a minute. However, there was no mention at that time that this would come with an additional charge. After the service, I was sent a payment link for $70 remaining, when I had expected to owe $35. When I asked for clarification, I was told there was an extra fee for mixing the colors. While I understand that service providers can set their own pricing, it’s standard practice to communicate any upcharges beforehand. Being charged an additional $35 for mixing two colors—without prior notice—felt unreasonable. On a positive note, my nails did come out nice, musica playlsit was great and she worked uninterruptedly. However, the overall experience and lack of transparency made the total cost of $210 for a basic gel manicure, pedicure, and two acrylic toes feel unjustified. I hope this feedback encourages clearer communication around pricing, a more welcoming customer experience, and improvements to the overall environment.

I love ever moment this was definitely worth it! She was amazing and very helpful through the whole class ! I definitely recommend her as a great teacher to learn from! Don’t pass up on her !!

I’ve been going to Tierra for a year now. Long story short as long as I have money and live in Charlotte she is my forever nail tech. She has even been flexible and fit me in when I needed it one time. Otherwise her nails don’t lift or break. She is always perfecting her craft and I love her for that!
