Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby

This might me my favorite sushi spot on the Peninsula! Everything we had was top-tier in taste. The service was fantastic as well. They gave me complimentary miso and gave us both some yummy salmon to try. This place is small so I anticipate a wait during peak meal times.

Best tuna roll ever.. Large side salad enough for 2. Ededname excellent. Large servings of any of the rolls with attractive black slate to k eep the roll cold, smart. Excellent miso soup in good size bowl. Water containers at each table. Take out available and no reservations taken. We went on a weeknight.

Great quality sushi! My wife and I both had the omakase. The set came with miso soup and salad. The omakase consists of 10 pieces and each piece was prepared in different ways. We have been to other places where all the fish is prepared or seasoned the same so they all taste the same. Not the case here. The place is tiny, hence the name, so be prepared to wait. Service was so-so. There was only one waitress so we had to get her attention a couple of times for more tea and water. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back to try their other items.

Small and unassuming, Tiny Sushi let’s the dishes speak for themselves. The miso soup’s richness and the way their housemade dressing compliments the small bowl of fresh greens, your taste buds are suddenly alerted that something special is happening on your plate. The freshness of the fish is accentuated by delicate sauces to bring out the superb texture and flavors. We had the Omakase plate after eyeing our neighbor’s order and will be back to try every other dish as well. Even the rolls were well balanced, the rice was fresh, the avocado the perfect ripeness and the choice of tuna exactly the correct firmness to tie them all together. Perhaps Tiny Sushi thrives because the space is small and allows ultimate concentration, or perhaps they’re just masters at their craft. Five or six return trips will decide.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. Wonderful service and even better food. The waiter was very nice and chatted with us the whole time. We received a piece of salmon belly on the house which was beyond nice of the sushi chef to offer that to us. We had a wonderful date night and will definitely be back again. We gave perfect stars because they deserve it. The quality of the sushi/ seafood was top tier. I think the only thing I have to mention is that it is very pricey. You probably can’t leave without spending around $50+ per person, something to keep in mind if you are looking for budget friendly bites but we do highly recommend this place.
