Umami Mami Catering

FABULOUS! Thank goodness Gigi reached out to me in my quest to find home-cooked meals delivered during my long recovery from a knee replacement surgery. She is a delight to work with, and her meals delish! She made me everything from spaghetti to chicken tikka masala! And, yes, the mango sticky rice is bomb! I needed low sodium (to keep swelling down), fresh, and healthy, and that is what she delivers. It is so wonderful being able to have Gigi's tasty cuisine in the fridge. Cooking, etc., is out of the question post-op. I will hire her again and again!

I hosted an off-grid campout in Oregon, and Gigi travelled to provide the best food catering we could imagine! Gigi created an exotic yet practical menu that appealed to every guest at our campout!!! She added extras to every meal, and it became the highlight of the day to see what our next meal was!!! She worked tirelessly to provide the best food ever! Thank you Gigi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Caterer Who Went Above and Beyond Hiring Umami Mami was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Not only did she prepare an absolutely delicious wedding dinner that our guests are still talking about, but she was so much more than a caterer — she became an essential part of our week. From the days leading up to the wedding through the setup and even the breakdown afterward, she was there, always calm, creative, and completely in control. What amazed me most was her ability to make magic out of anything — she somehow multiplied the food, thought on her feet, and turned leftovers into entirely new, mouthwatering meals. It felt like she could do it all with ease and grace. Gigi and her team were super organized and very respectful of the space and guests. She exceeded every expectation we had — not just in the food (which was exceptional), but in her energy, kindness, and dedication. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a caterer who truly cares and gives her all. She didn’t just feed our guests; she nourished everyone around her with love and generosity. Gigi is an absolutely amazing chef and even better human being We hired Gigi to cater at our wedding and we are sooo glad we found her. From the start, we could tell she was brimming with passion and was genuinely excited to help us craft a custom menu with our favorite foods. We hopped on multiple calls to discuss menu with her, and she even set up a private tasting where we dined on some of the most delicious food ever cooked for four straight hours. We were so stuffed, but we just couldn't stop eating! On the big day, Gigi and her team delivered once again, despite several unforeseen circumstances. Our outdoor venue had more bees than expected and the oven died during prep (!), but despite these challenges her team adapted and served all the guests some really yummy food with only minor delays. Our guests loved the food and kept commenting on how special it was! At the end of the night, Gigi also packed us the rest of the leftovers--this was super thoughtful as we barely had time to eat during the day. This way, we were able to relive our wedding dinner not just once, but multiple times afterwards :)

Chef Gigi is amazing! She’s so easy to work with and her food is incredible. She really cares about quality and making her clients happy. Would highly recommend her for weddings and events. She made us the most beautiful grazing table and catered to everything we wanted. Highly recommend her.
