I walked in and the other receptionist didn’t welcome or help me but Karen stepped in and was extremely helpful! She helped with giving info on services, pricing, timelines and I was able to walk out with a next-day appointment. Thank you Karen!

We found a great doctor——Dr. Xu Because we don't have insurance, we tried many dental clinics in the Bay Area, but we haven't found a good doctor, because my husband's teeth hurt for more than a week after each tooth cleaning, which made him feel uncomfortable. Finally, we met Dr. Xu. She was amazing! She gave us a professional explanation according to the situation of our teeth and made a targeted treatment. Her movements were skilled and fast, and she did a deep tooth cleaning, but my husband didn't feel any pain at all. He is so happy! This clinic has a lot of space, clean and tidy, and the staff are very enthusiastic. We will consult see Dr. Xu regularly to take care of our teeth. The only drawback is that there is no parking lot and parking must be on the side of the road.

Found this clinic on Google , reviews were pretty good so I decided to come here as I needed a lot of dental work and my insurance was going to be terminated. I love that reception staff marisol , especially was very nice & attentive also very fast . My bad experience was with the doctor. Dr hsu was very fought when handling my face when I mentioned she had a heavy hand and she scoffed. When moving my face she would dig her pinky nail into the side of my face , she also seemed bothered when I would tell her I needed more suction/numbing while she was working on me . She also intended to stick the local Anesthetic Syringe mouth without numbing cream on my gums. I’ve had work done before and they’ve always put numbing gel before the syringe. When I asked her to please add the gel she scoffed and said “ well I can but I don’t think it makes a difference “ then she walked away if bother because I was wasting her time . I understand that she was very busy and working on 2 other patients at the same time . The worst part of this experience was that I got a tooth extracted and she didn’t give me any follow up instructions on how to care for the wound. I didn’t receive any after care instructions nor any dos or don’t . I had to call back to figure out information on that . One thing I did appreciate from her was that she took full advantage of my insurance since she knew I was going to lose coverage. Thanks to her I got ALOT of over due work done .

I have been to several dentists in my life, and this is one of the top 3 best dentist offices I have ever visited. Dr. Tran and Dr. Su were very patient with answering all of the many questions I presented them with, and gave me further insight to treat my negligence and the poor work I had done by another dentist. This was actually my third dentist opinion in four months, I received a second opinion in New Jersey when I visited my girlfriend, and the first opinion was a horrible one at Western Dental. I felt like Western Dental was upselling me, ripping me off and not really considering my best interest but theirs which could have resulted in more future pain. Because I have been consulting with other dentists, I can say that here at Unica they were pretty honest with me and feel like I am currently in good hands. The prices are very affordable too!! Dr. Tran seems like a great guy, very knowledgeable, humorous and down to earth. Dr. Su was awesome as well. Great, honest dentists are hard to find, much less affordable great ones. I would recommend this dentist to any family member or friend of mine, especially if you want a good bang for your bucks!
