Great service! Food was tasty. We had the XLB soup dumpling combination sampler (which were good but small), grandma's pot stickers (which were missing the crispy edges), Mongolian beef (good), and garlic pea shoots (delicious). Nice atmosphere.

United dumpling is a family run dumpling store. The service was tardy and the food took more than 20 mins to arrive. The dumplings are good but not in the same league as dumpling home or dumpling story. The dumpling skin was also a little on the thicker side. I tried the Sichuan chilli oil dumpling and the beef and celery dumpling. Both were nice. Fun to watch the dumplings made in front of you. Good meal at the price point.

I found this dumpling place by accident on a road trip to SF, and it turned out to be a solid stop. We were a group of five, including a baby, and the server told us upfront that it would be at least 10 minutes before he could get to us. I appreciated the honesty, and we were fine waiting. We ordered two soup dumplings (pork and chicken), oolong tea, wings, and a rice dish. Everything came out hot and tasted great. The soup dumplings were the standout — super fresh and full of flavor — and the wings and rice rounded out the meal perfectly. If you’re in the area, this is an easy recommendation for good, satisfying dumplings and quick, straightforward service.

I have been to the Oakland location perhaps 4 or 5 times. The very first time I went, I really liked the atmosphere. It felt spacious and inviting. The food was also very good. In particular, I would recommend the grandma pork dumplings, the DanDan noodles and the sauteed string beans. The service was prompt and the whole experience was - I have been going there ever since.
