Val Car Automotive LLC

Val Car Automotive is one of the best, if not the best car repair shops in the NOLA area. Believe me, good mechanics are nearly impossible to come by. I drive a 2000 Honda Civic, needless to say, my car has many issues. Everytime I have taken my car there, they got to the bottom of the problem quickly and fixed it. The mechanics there are gifted with great skills. Because my car is so old, some parts are unavailable or overly expensive. Wow!! they built a part for my car from scratch and it works great. As far as the negative reviews, they are unwarranted as some of these folks drive their cars into the ground. They don't keep up the proper maintenance, and so they bring it to Val's expecting miracles. A blown engine can cost as much as $12,000 to repair, so the car remains in the shop for a time. This is the problem with many of the cars these disgruntled customers bring into the shop expecting major repairs to be done in a day. Some of these folks are disrespectful too. What do you expect when you are a total jerk wanting everything done for free? I have learned that a little bit of humility and kindness goes a long way. People will go the extra mile for you when you are humble and show some respect. Lastly, I give Val's Automotive the higest rating possible. High Quality Workmanship. Fair prices. Great people. Carlos is a good man! If you want your car done right, go to him.

Good service, fair prices, and honesty that I can depend on when having my family’s cars worked on. For over 10 years I’ve been coming to Valcar for all of my automotive repair and used car purchase needs. They do automotive repairs (big and small), windshield replacement, window tint, and auto body work.

I highly recommend Val Car Automotive Repair Shop. Mr. Carlos, and his team has truly been a blessing. His Receptionist was always very professional, and just was very helpful, over the phone and in person. Mr. Carlos, was very informative and willing to explain everything to me. These people's are so unorganized & unprofessional. The guy never fixed the major problem with my suv, matter of fact he couldn't tell me what was wrong with it, mind you I told them before all of the details that was going on(that I …

My car been over there for a week now. And when you ask about it they make you feel like your wrong for asking. They have no communication skills. They will have your car and never call you no matter how many days. They told me two days and I called them in 4 days and they had me feeling so upset and still wasn't finished. I called the maker of the car and they said when they put the motor, harness in it was no need for a new computer. Because if it didn't start with the new harness then they hooked up wrong or something wrong with the harness. But instead of saying that like i asked them they said i needed a new computer and it still not cranking on the new parts only the old parts. And whats so sad is that I paid them before they picked up my car and they treat me like I owe them money for work. I just want my car back. They can put the old harness and computer on there and give me my car cause I can take it else where
