I'd heard great things about this shop from multiple people, so I was looking forward to bringing my car in. When I pulled up, the music was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. I'm talking deafening levels. I sat in my car for a few minutes hoping someone would notice a customer had arrived and turn it down, but nothing changed. I ended up leaving without even getting out of my car and made an appointment somewhere else. Maybe they do great work, but the environment made it impossible to even have a conversation about what I needed done. If you value being able to communicate with your mechanic, this might not be the place.

I had a great experience at Western Auto thanks to Andy. I brought in my Honda Civic with a transmission issue, and Andy quickly diagnosed the problem—a belt that needed replacing. After a previous mechanic told me I needed a full transmission replacement at a steep cost, I’m incredibly grateful I came here for a second opinion. Andy was thorough, transparent, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood what was being done and why. My car is now running smoothly, and I feel confident in the service I received. I’ll definitely be returning to Western Auto for all future maintenance and repairs. They tend to book up quickly—and for good reason—so I highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance. That said, Andy will do his best to accommodate last-minute openings whenever possible. If you're looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic, I highly recommend Andy and the team here!

I found Western Auto about 3 years ago because I live in the neighborhood and needed to drop my car off, and could be able to walk home. That was the first time I encountered Andy the manager and he did a great job of explaining what was wrong and trying to avoid me paying extra for stuff I didn't need. How rare in a mechanic to not try and sell you stuff you don't need!!!!! I've been going there for 3 years now and they always fix it , and I always feel like they're never trying to upsell me or force me into things I don't need. An honest mechanic is so great to find!!!!

I’ve had an exceptional experience with this auto shop. Andy, the owner, truly cares about his customers and does not try to rip customers off. For instance, he noticed my old tires needed replacing and provided a quote. However, he also encouraged me to shop around for better prices, giving me specific tire dimensions and recommended brands. I even called him up a few days later telling him about another quote I got and asking him if it’s good. This honest approach, rather than pressuring me to buy from his shop, demonstrates his genuine concern for his customers. I’ve been a loyal customer for 2.5 years, bringing both my car and my wife’s car here, and each visit has been outstanding. If you drive a Japanese car, I highly recommend this place!
