Wonderful Spa

Does little massage spot is in Berkeley downtown Berkeley on Bancroft and Fulton it’s called wonderful spa. I had a Thai massage with Mai and it was amazing. She’s very professional, attentive, and clearly knows what she’s doing. Her pressure was perfect and she really helped release the tension in my back and shoulders. This place is truly a hidden gem! I had been suffering from severe pain in my shoulders, neck, and hands—a condition that had plagued me for eight months and significantly impacted my daily life—until I found Lina at Wonderful Spa. I had previously tried seeing chiropractors and undergoing acupuncture, but my condition showed no signs of improvement. After receiving just a few therapeutic massage sessions from Lina, I am thrilled to report that my shoulder mobility has been fully restored, and I feel almost completely back to normal. Lina is incredibly professional; she possesses an intuitive ability to accurately sense exactly what your body needs. Furthermore, Wonderful Spa maintains a clean and tidy environment, and their prices are very reasonable.

I had a combo massage with Mei for 90 minutes and it was very relaxing. She really got into the problem areas I had noted ahead. It was very similar to massages I received while living in Taiwan. I recommend this shop if you’re looking for a no nonsense massage. Edit 11/29/25: It is family run and they are very nice and run a clean store. Do expect to a short wait if you try to walk in or schedule last minute with a specific massage therapist. As with all massage shops, they have a limited amount of staff. I witnessed a very entitled and rude customer come in while I was getting a massage and throw a hissy fit because the staff member she wanted was running behind 15 minutes with the client scheduled before her. The customer threatened a bad yelp review if the shop didn’t give her 30 minutes extra for free do waiting - she had only originally booked a 60 minute massage. She repeated this to every staff member who tried to de-escalate the hissy fit, including her therapist when she finally finished her previous client and arrived at the woman’s room. The shop acquiesced to the customers demands, but the level of entitlement considering she had only booked last minute that morning was insane.

Wonderful Spa lives up to its name! Came in for a 30 min body massage and Mei left me feeling much better. They were very kind and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back!

I had Sophia as my masseuse and she was amazing! Worked out all the issues I've been having in my back, while also very friendly and accommodating. Will be booking with her again!
