I'm typically a $20 haircut type of guy because I never really put too much weight into my hair. However, I am getting married soon and my fiancee suggested that I go find a barber who could really maximize my hair potential and help me find the best look for the wedding. Hu was super patient and knowledgeable about what he can do with my hair and gave amazing suggestions and guided me through the possibilities while ultimately giving me the final say and even asking for my input. The overall experience was amazing and I've never felt so pampered in my life. Also, Hu is an amazing conversationalist who made the post-work hour-long session super fun and relaxing. As for the haircut, I got the fiancee stamp of approval and I look forward to going back. Hu and I made this plan to keep seeing each other until (and likely after the wedding) to lay the foundations for my hair and letting it grow the way we are planning it so that at the final pre-wedding cut, it has grown, settled, and will be cut to perfection. Plus, Hu is super experienced and understands Asian men's hair which was super important for me. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend Hu to anyone. I also tipped because my man 100% deserved it.

recently made an appointment for my boyfriend to get a haircut with Hu. He’s never been to a barber before so I wanted to make sure the cut was good but also that the vibes were right. Hu did not disappoint! He came in with thick shoulder length hair and came out with a clean shorter cut. I was personally impressed at how much it matched the reference photos of what he wanted but still custom to his face shape/hair type. Hu also worked some type of magic on his facial hair that made his face look slimmer and left his skin glowing! If your man is in need of a good barber highly recommend making an appointment with Hu.

He told me he saw a gap in the market and made sure to specifically study longer Asian hair styles, and it definitely shows. I've tried a lot of barbers in the city, and Hu was able to pull off my desired style.
