Easily the best nail salon I’ve been to. This is a small, locally owned business and the owner Sing is amazing. She’s professional, kind, patient, and really takes her time to make sure everything is done right. I go in regularly for pedicures and the experience is always relaxing with excellent results. My partner gets her nails done here, and they consistently come out flawless. The quality of her work speaks for itself—you can tell she truly cares about what she does. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, attention to detail, and genuine customer care like this. Supporting a small business like hers is a no-brainer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier work and a great overall experience.

Found Sing completely randomly maybe 7yrs ago when she was renting a space in the back of a barber shop in La Mesa. I am ridiculously picky and was really frustrated by all of the 'pump and dump' nail salons out there. I may have just made up that term but most places do a super half-assed job in express mode. Well, I work with my hands and whatever I pay for a manicure...it needs to last. I was ecstatic to connect with Sing. Her level of detail was/is unparalleled. At the time I was only tending to my nails very sporadically. When I called to schedule an appointment I learned that she had opened her own place in Spring Valley. It's a farther drive for me but 100% worth it. Since finding Sing I will not go to any other studio regardless of price or convenience of location. In the last few years I have also become equally comfortable with Marie. These two ladies are 100% legit with their craft. Schedule an appointment.

My experience with ZenZen nails is always a pleasure. Nobody is shuffling me around or making me wait for my appointment. This shop is by appointment only, with a small deposit, but it's truly a bespoke experience and worth taking the time to make some time to pamper yourself.

Personal, small, well ventilated, clean. You’re on a first name basis here. Schedule your appointment in advance, they book out quickly for a reason! This is a small business not a chain. I am super quirky about my nails, and this place never disappoints. My nail artist (Sing) is amazing. High quality output every time, insane attention to detail she puts in the time to do it right. Never had to worry about getting injured. No issues with communication. There’s always free, easy parking.

Boutique nail salon! I wanted to gatekeep this place but I have to share the gem I found in Spring Valley! It’s a super small place, only 3 techs so you have to book ahead but it is so worth the wait. The techs take all the necessary steps, my nails have never been shaped and cleaned better. I brought my 7 year old daughter and I appreciated that they also took care of her nails with the same love they did mine. We left happy and with healthier nails than we came in with. I can’t wait to come back.
