Sign in to reviewOne of the best Taiwanese style bread and pastries in DFW. I prefer this mom&pop bakery over 85degree,99 ranch, sweet hut. They have more savory bread options and not just sweet breads like other popular bakeries (tous les jours, Paris baguette). Definitely must try!
Nice little Chinese bakery inside of the Jusgo Supermarket. The baked goods are all well price. Some of the pastries are not self served you have to as the worker to get it for you. So do not be shy asking for assistance. The egg tart was just okay, everything we get there was good but nothing wow! If I was in the area and crave Chinese baked goods, I would come back here again.
Great selection of pastries and breads. They have all my kids’ favorites: custard bun, milk butter bun, egg tart. I especially love the milk butter buns here, fluffy and soft with just the right amount of sweetness in the cream filling.
Ive came here since I was a kid 15 or 20 years ago. I recently moved back to the area and visited this bakery for the first time in several years, and nothing has changed. This is still my favorite my bakery of all time.
Nice, cute little mom and pop bakery shop that offers many traditional Taiwanese style bread, buns, and pastry items. I have tried places such as 85 Degrees, 99 Ranch Bakery, Sweet Hut, and I still keep coming back to 158 Bakery as they offer the most authentically Taiwanese bakery goods. I highly recommend this place! Keep some cash in hand as they do not take cards for transactions under $10.
