This place was a hidden gem. It had a lovely atmosphere that felt like it would be great for a date night. The service was pretty good, and the servers were friendly. 😄 My husband and I stopped in for lunch, and the food was delicious. He ordered the salmon, which was flavorful, tender, and had a good grill. I had the beef koobideh and it was pretty flavorful

I was really excited to try this spot due to all the great reviews. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience here. Food was decent, but everything else was lacking. The menu I was handed didn’t have the lunch specials so I tried to let the server know I wanted to try that by pointing to the sign, but it was lost in translation, so we ordered something else. I assumed maybe they didn’t have the lunch special, but someone came in and ordered it without any issues.. We tried to order the filet, but was told there wasn’t any. So, we got the beef koobideh, which lacked seasoning and was super greasy. It really needed the sauce that came out later. The rack of lamb tasted better and was a generous serving. As I check the receipt now, the menu had old pricing, so that’s a bit annoying. There was a really annoying, constant sound coming from the kitchen that wouldn’t shut off. It made the dining unpleasant.

Wow! Do not let the outside of this building deceive you, this restaurant is beautiful inside! The atmosphere and music were so relaxing. The waitress was so sweet and personable. She recommended all the good stuff. Do not skip on the hummus and dinner salad, you will not be disappointed. We had the chicken and steak shish-kabobs and both were melt in your mouth delicious! We will be back on our next visit to California.

I came all the way from Los Angeles and have had Persian food everywhere, but nothing compares to the koobideh, barg, and shish kebab at this hidden gem in OC. The flavors were unreal—hands down the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service? Absolutely top-notch, they are as genuine as it gets—kind, welcoming, and truly passionate about his food. This is 100% homemade Persian gourmet at its finest. I’m still thinking about it. ❤️👍😋
