Sign in to reviewVisited 85°C Bakery Cafe a couple of times and overall had a good experience 😊🍰🥐 This place has a really nice variety of both savory and sweet options, and it’s honestly hard to leave without picking up multiple items because everything looks so tempting! We tried several of their savory pastries and snacks, and those were consistently fresh and tasty 👌 The variety is definitely one of the biggest strengths here. Whether you want light snacks, breads, pastries, or desserts, there are plenty of choices available at reasonable prices. We also tried a few different cakes during our visits. Some of them were really soft, moist, and delicious 🎂✨ However, a couple of times the cakes felt slightly dry, which made the experience a little inconsistent. The flavors themselves were good, but maintaining freshness consistently across all cakes would make the overall experience much better. Pricing is fair for the quality and portion sizes, and the cafe atmosphere is pleasant for a quick snack or dessert stop ☕ Overall, it’s still a spot I’d revisit because the options and flavors are good, especially for savory items. Pros 👍 Great variety of savory and sweet items Fresh and tasty pastries/snacks Reasonable pricing Nice bakery café atmosphere Cons 👎 Cake quality feels inconsistent sometimes A few cakes tasted dry instead of moist Overall, a good bakery spot near Lakeline with lots of options 🍞🍰 Hoping they improve consistency in cake freshness because the place definitely has potential!
I had an amazing experience at 85°C Bakery Cafe in Lakeline! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the incredible aroma of fresh pastries and bread. The selection was huge, and everything looked freshly made and beautifully displayed. We tried several pastries and drinks, and every single item was delicious. The pastries were soft, flavorful, and tasted incredibly fresh. The drinks were perfectly made and paired great with the bakery items. You can really tell they put a lot of care into the quality of their food. The store was clean, organized, and the staff was friendly and efficient, even during a busy time. What impressed me most was the variety they have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a sweet treat, savory pastry, coffee, or a special cake. If you’re in the Austin area, I highly recommend visiting 85°C Bakery Cafe - Lakeline. It’s easily one of the best bakeries around, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My mom and I went around 3pm on a Wednesday and it wasn’t too busy and they still had a lot of great pastry options on the shelves! So many to choose from! We’ll definitely be back! It was my first time here and it certainly did not disappoint. I got a choco bun, white chocolate strawberry, chocolate roll, and a strawberry milk tea! While waiting for our drinks, we did notice a lot of food crumbs and drink “stains” on the tables and seats, but other than that, still a relatively clean facility!
This was a fun bakery to check out as it had many Asian baked goods options and you picked out what you wanted yourself on a tray and went to the register to check out. I really liked that they had a milk tea that was dairy-free! Their items had pretty unique flavors. They also had coffee available as well!
We got the Choco Cookie Break and Marble Taro since they were some of the only available egg free options. The clear labeling of allergens was appreciated, but unfortunately, the Marble Taro seemed to be uncooked around the taro filling. The flavor of uncooked bread and taro was not the “bakery experience” we were hoping for. Luckily, the choco cookie break did taste good! Like fully cooked bread with a sweet topping.
