Sign in to reviewThe front counter people were very kind. I got the #14 susage and eggs sandwich with avocado and it was absolutely delicious. I spoiled myself and got a cinnamon roll donut to go and that was also really good. Tip: If you're coming in a little bit late like late morning early afternoon (like me) don't expect their popular items to be there. True mom and pop shop vibes here....will be back again.
I never noticed this donut shop until this morning while on a walk, and I'm so glad I found it! The staff was immediately so welcoming and pleasant. The process of choosing my donuts was very quick and easy. The donuts I got were both so fluffy and so yummy. I finished one on my walk, Soni didn't get pictures, but I snapped a quick one of my donut because the texture was so unique and pleasant. It was somewhere in between cake and croissant, and it almost felt like it was melting in my mouth. The flavor was so good, a very sublte sweet flavor paired with the yeasty flavor of the bread paired nicely with a morning coffee. When I got home, I was surprised with a few free donut holes in my bag, and I was left with a huge smile on my face. It set the tone for a wonderful day :) Will definitely be coming more regularly, and hopefully I'll get a bagel next time!
Hidden Gem for Donut and “Just a coffee” Lovers! This place is a true hole-in-the-wall—in the best way possible. It’s not fancy, but the staff is warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the prices are almost unbelievable. We got 3 donuts, a croissant, and a coffee for $11. Try doing that at any chain… ain’t no way! The donuts are fresh, the coffee’s solid, and the croissant was flakey and buttery. If you’re looking for a down-to-earth spot with great people and great food that won’t drain your wallet, this is it.
Interior needs a refresh but they make up for it by being so warm, gracious and accommodating. Prices are quite reasonable and they have a good selection of donuts, baked goods and sandwiches to choose from. They don't have their business name displayed but the address is there and it says "Donut Shop."
Don't even bother, the plaza is a rat's nest. Stopped in a few months ago, guy sold me a few day olds in the morning but I let it slide. Went back on a whim, no prices listed. $1.75 for regulars and $2.00 for anything else, that translates to roughly $22 a dozen. Yeah, for fried dough and sugar - two of the cheapest ingredients on the planet. Go across the street, there's a better shop next to northgate with hundreds of reviews.
