American Nail Bar

I love this nail salon!! I always ask for Julie and she does such an amazing job everytime and they are very affordable compared to other nail places I have tried. I tell all my friends to go here! This time I got French tips with purple cats eye gel nail polish with silver accents. And these are my real nails! I have been able to grow them out using top gel and the fact they are still going strong is a testament to the quality and care they put into each customer here!!

Super pleased with my gel nails I got done at American Nail Bar! Williams is a lovely side of town and the gals who worked at this nail bar were very kind and talented. I felt very considered and taken care of. The shop if very clean. I also recommend the lavendar pedicure! Wow! The hot stone massage?? Amazing.

This was the worst mani/pedi I’ve ever received. My tech was in a rush the whole time and seemed annoyed that I was there for a service (that I had booked in advance). During the pedicure, she was rough with the clippers and didn’t bother to do any nail shaping or cuticle care. She just cut my toenails straight across. Tools weren’t opened or unpackaged in front of me. They’re still using a grater for foot callouses and I didn’t even see the tech put in a new blade 🤢 Even though I wanted gel on my hands and feet she kinda just did something (acrylic, builder gel, idk?!) on my nails without explaining it. I was just told “it makes it last longer” and thought it was a different kind of gel. When she was applying it and I asked, “what is that?” She just told me “it’s better” and wouldn’t give me a clear answer or tell me what it was and went back to talking to the other tech. She didn’t do any cuticle or nail prep. She did apply a triple coat of polish for the deep red on my toes, but when using the same color on my fingers, she only applied a double coat, and only applied a single coat to my thumb, leaving the color uneven and blotchy. There’s tons of air bubbles and other imperfections that just elevates this manicure from bad to comically bad. I don’t think I could do this bad of a job painting my own nails if I tried. I've been seeing Devin at American Nail Bar for the last few months for gel x manicures. He's wonderful! He is extremely thorough and precise. He is also very kind and I always enjoy our chats! I highly recommend Devin for gel x!
