This little neighborhood gem is truly something special. It’s so unassuming that if you blink, you might miss it—we actually drove here on a chef’s recommendation, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s a bakery with a wonderful selection of pastries. I tried a variety of items, including croissants and filled brioches, and everything was fresh, beautifully made, and delicious. You can really taste the care and precision in their baking. Parking is quite limited, so be prepared to look for a spot on the surrounding residential streets. The place gets very busy, but the staff is efficient, friendly, and keeps things moving smoothly.

Angel Maid Bakery has gone down hill a little bit. Their hours are not what they say and their lot for parking is very small. That said, their service is still great and they are very nice. They are limited in what they will do. If you bring in a photo of a cake you want, chances are they won't be able to do it. They do not do images at all. They have a book and you can pick a cake. Their selection in store is very good, but I am so sick of most of them having a whipped cream frosting that you have to keep cold. I don't like cold cake. Their selection of butter cream is lacking. They do have a nice selection of cupcakes with butter cream frosting which is great. When you have them write on a cake you pre ordered you can tell they took very little time to do it, it is sloppy and there is nothing but what you told them to write. Most bakeries add a little flower or something to present the name. I just had a lemon curd type cake from them and I noticed the sloppy writing and the cake was so sweet I could not eat it, and of course, it was cold. I won't be back. That is sad. I will find another bakery that cares. But I still give them a 4 because I know a lot of people like sweet cakes with whipped cream frosting and their service is very good.

Angel Maid Bakery is an absolute gem in Los Angeles! It's the perfect spot for anyone looking for stunning, high-quality sweets that won't empty their wallet. The display cases are always a sight to behold—each cake and pastry is so beautifully decorated, you almost feel bad cutting into it. But your regret will vanish with the first bite! The baked goods are renowned for being light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The selection is fantastic, offering a huge variety from their legendary strawberry shortcake and airy chiffon cakes to delectable cream puffs and individual pastries. Best of all, they consistently offer these top-notch treats at truly cheap prices for LA, making it my go-to for all occasions.

I used to live in LA 3 years ago and ate their cakes when both my parents were working minimum wage jobs. Now my mom has finished her degree and we moved to NorCal. We missed the price and flavor of Angel Maid so this year this was one of the things that we especially came back to LA for.

Ordered an 8in mocha chiffon cake for my birthday. I placed the order on Thursday and they were able to have it ready by Sat afternoon. The cake was incredible- light, airy, sweet but not overly so! They also were able to write a custom message and decorate the top to fit with my party theme. This bakery is definitely becoming a go-to. Can’t recommend highly enough. Easy to order, reasonable prices, quality product
