My husband was sponsored by his employer for a working visa and is currently processing my spousal visa in order to legally remain in Peru. We were married in San Francisco and we needed a certified copy of our Marriage License issued within 30 days and the marriage license needed an apostille. We are on a time crunch given that it would have taken a few weeks to receive the marriage license, get an apostille, get the document in the mail, as well as get the document approved by the ministry in Peru once received in order to approve the visa. All had to be completed within 30 days (the amount left on my current tourist visa). Glenn and John had offered to make arrangements to meet & pick up my marriage license from a family member as well as get an apostille on the document and have it mailed via Fed-Ex all on the same day.
