About
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is listed on FindALoco in Phoenix, AZ with address, phone, website, and map location.
Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is a resort business in Phoenix, Arizona, at 8000 South Arizona Grand E, Phoenix, AZ 85044. For travelers looking for a place to stay with on-site pools, room for a conference, and a setting that can feel like a getaway within the city, guest feedback points to several appealing features. The property has a listed rating of 4.3 from 9,071 reviews. Experiences vary, so that score is best read alongside what guests describe: many praise spacious, clean rooms and enjoyable pool amenities, while one reviewer reported a frustrating check-in and a room that was not ready on arrival.
Rooms are a recurring highlight in positive reviews. Guests describe them as clean and spacious, making the resort a possible fit for couples, families, or visitors who value room to settle in after a day out. One Phoenix resident booked a stay for her husband's birthday and said the experience felt like being in another city, suggesting the resort can offer a change of pace without leaving town. Another guest appreciated the room and the range of amenities during a weekend visit. These are individual impressions rather than guarantees, but they offer a useful picture of the stay some visitors have enjoyed.
The pools are among the most frequently noted amenities in the supplied feedback. Reviewers describe the pools as fantastic and mention different pools across the property, making them a central part of the resort experience for guests who want time to swim and unwind. One visitor who attended a conference also praised how the event was handled, alongside the pools, room cleanliness, and courteous staff. That combination may make Arizona Grand Resort & Spa worth considering for a Phoenix conference stay where guests also want leisure facilities on site.
Some reviews mention special activities during a particular holiday-weekend stay, including a magician and fireworks. These details describe one guest's visit and should not be taken as a promise that the same entertainment is offered year-round. Other reviewers speak warmly about helpful, friendly staff, including people they contacted before arrival and staff they met at check-in. At the same time, a negative account describes a long front-desk line and a room not being prepared, a reminder that arrival experiences can differ. Checking current arrangements directly before a visit can help set expectations.
Overall, Arizona Grand Resort & Spa may suit Phoenix visitors planning a pool-focused weekend, a birthday escape, or a conference stay with resort amenities. The strongest themes in the reviews are spacious, clean rooms, multiple pools, and positive interactions with staff, balanced by at least one report of delays at check-in and room readiness. Hours were not provided in the business information, so confirm details such as arrival timing and available amenities with the resort when planning. Its South Phoenix address places it within the city, while guest accounts suggest the setting can feel like a separate retreat from everyday routines.

Heather Snarey (?★): We stayed at the Arizona Grand Resort over Labor Day weekend and had such a great experience! We saw that they had a magician performing and fireworks shows during our stay, so we knew we had to check it out and nothing disappointed! Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a great time at the waterpark, and even though my son was just 1/4 inch too short for the waterslides, we still made the most of it and had a blast! One of the highlights was having a balcony with a view of the fireworks. Watching them right from our room was an unexpected bonus and absolutely spectacular! And of course, the magic was a huge hit with our family. We met the magician, and he completely blew our minds! He was personable, entertaining, and so engaging. We got to watch his show table-side, and we spent the entire time laughing, smiling, and watching in awe. It was such a fun family getaway that my son is already asking, “When do we get to go back?” That says it all! We can’t wait for our next stay at the Arizona Grand!
Mariza P (?★): Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in while and such a shame as I was really looking forward to staying here. When we arrived, there was a line like at Disney to get to the front desk. Once we make it to the rep, they advise us our room was not prepared, mind you it was already 4:30. We leave to go run errands and they let us know our room is ready at about 6pm. We get back late at around 11. We get into the room in the Sedona building and realize it’s not the room we booked and they threw us into a wheel chair accesible room with no view other than their deck. As we get ready to get comfy my daughter pulls a clump of blonde hair from the pillows and bed sheets. As that was my last straw I call the front office and they tell me all they can do is remove the resort fee and send me the maintenance man to bring me clean sheets so I can remake the bed since housekeeping was gone for the day. I tell them if they can switch me rooms atleast and they say they are sold out. I tell them to just give me my money back. So we ended up leaving at 12 pm at night searching everywhere for a different hotel exhausted. Such a disappointment with the whole experience in general.
Pierced Heart Art (?★): I loved this place! It was quite spacious and it was very clean. We had a conference here and everything was superbly done. The staff was friendly and courteous and the pools were fantastic. Speaking of rooms, they were clean and spacious. My only wish would have been a microwave, but small inconvenience for how well we were treated. If this place is not on your bucket list, put it on there. Drive a couple hours to grand canyon, petrified forest, come back for great food, wonderful pools and peaceful sleep. Bravo!
lilygH6116HM (?★): I booked this resort for my husbands birthday. We live in phoenix but it was like we were in a whole other city! I called twice prior to our stay and the two people i talked to were so friendly and helpful. When we checked in, same thing. …
Trip.com Member (?★): Absolutely amazing weekend at the Arizona grand. It was fun. It wasn’t packed. It was absolutely the best stay ever. The room was amazing and also all of the amenities and all the different pools throughout. Just a great day..
