Helen is the best! I followed her from NYC where she gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I live hundreds of miles away but I had to take the opportunity to see her when I was in San Francisco. With other hairstylists the cut is often a rushed five-minute affair (they’re understandably exhausted after foil-highlighting my long thick dense hair) but not with Helen. She’s a perfectionist and took the time to highlight my entire head beautifully with natural dimension and still give a proper time-consuming cut to thin it out so I can wear it down without looking like a triangle. Enjoyed the hours in the chair chatting with her too. It’s expensive but these are the expert services of someone who has truly mastered her craft over decades and I got exactly what I wanted so it was absolutely worth it to me.

He really listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut that feels fresh, flattering, and full of movement - exactly what I was looking for. Overall such a great experience with him and his staff as well; everyone was so welcoming and the conversation was fantastic. Could not recommend his salon more!!

I had such an amazing experience with my stylist Arthur! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. He truly took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. My cut, color and tone came out absolutely beautiful - I'm genuinely in love with my hair! Not only is he incredibly talented, but he's also professional, attentive, and makes the entire experience feel relaxing and enjoyable. You can tell he really cares about his clients and his work. It's honestly such a shame I don't live in this town, because if I did, he would be my go to stylist without a doubt. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone who knows what they're doing and will make you feel your best!

I've been getting my hair cut by Helen for 4-5 years (started seeing her at her previous salon). My hair is multi-textured and unpredictable, and I don't have much time to spend with it, so I need something that looks great, wash and go with minimal styling. Helen does a fantastic job with this, usually I get a dry cut, and her promise to give a cut that looks great between cuts has proven true. I get compliments even close to the time I need my next cut. She has a good balance of listening to what I want and making great suggestions that work well for me.
