I just had a bacalao (cod) and a beef patty at my friend's house and I had to Google this place. I live in Providence but next time I am in Boston I'm coming over and ordering a couple dozen to take home! Delicious! They make frozen ones to take home 😍
This is, by far, the best place to get Haitian patties. About 10 years ago, they made the absolute 💯 best Haitian patties. While things have changed over the years, it's still the best spot for Haitian patties in the Mattapan, Hyde Park, and Dorchester areas. There's nothing particularly memorable about the service or the atmosphere. It's a very small, no-frills place—but if you're there for the patties, you won't be disappointed.
These are not only the best patties in Massachusetts but truly the best Haitian patties ever! I genuinely believe there's no other place in Mass or even Boston that's better than Au Beurre Chaud. I always enjoy their jus chadque, morue, and aranso patties with duece lait, and the chicken sandwich is honestly a hidden gem.

Customer service can be improved. Read more for personal experience. Yes, the patties are good, better than most others when you consider the authentic culture and taste from Haiti. The ingredients in taste have slightly changed from time to time. Customer service can be an improvement. Please provide more assistance to front personal on days that are most busy so they do not take out frustrations on customers. Personal experience, as I was asked to speed up my decision when I had my daughter and visually impaired father with me picking out what they wanted. Yes, there was a line, of which we also patiently waited for others to make their choices. Very 😠 grumpy personel. To help this process please do best to educate on best customer practice, and taking a break to ease personal tension. Otherwise, perhaps I'll return, and just maybe a better reception will compliment the pastries.
